OMG It's been ages since I last updated my darlin blog,Well My Isabella's been extremely moody recently,I had to go about a month without internet.Believe me,ITWASTOUGH!

I had to resort to visiting Internet Cafes to actually get some internet time,and I had a tough time dealing with people lookin over my shoulders,I had to give them the 'GAY' stare.LOL..I'm not gonna dwell on the word and act out how it exactly works,*LETS YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD* hahaha...Women are usually less nosy-er...so I didn't come with a specific way to deal with them.. :-p

Well in that one month,nothin much's been happenin although the DATE's gettin closer and closer..Still havin this odd-tingly feelin in me which doesn't seem to have a specific reaction,its more like a general feelin which comes and goes like the tides on the Port Dickson beaches.

I've been working overtime with Selena recently,she's gettin worked up a little too much,I feel that i've gotta slow down or she might just get all tired and sore.:p

Anyways quick life update!

Dad just got this awesome-ly cute darling dog! Well he's a German Shephered,and he so absolutely cute.Dad didn't tell us about it,he just went and got it.The moment i saw the dude jumpin off the car,i was like what the hell is that?? it seriously looked like this small bear! And he was so adorablee.He tails you everywhere,and sometimes you have to pat him to sleep or he'll cause a ruckus.

He's not the only dog we have,we have another one but he's been with us for a year.And man,damn he's grown! This other guy's a German Shephered too but he's like a big bone breed so when he stands on two legs he's approximately 5 ft 4 inches.Amazingly strong (he can't take down my brother by just jumping on him),amazingly smart and analytical.He observes my brother opening his cage a couple of times.Then after that he can open his own cage.Even the latch on the house gate.This guy's a little more serious but he totally loves the little fellow.Every time we release him from his cage,the first thing he does is go to Bheema's play pen and make sure he's fine.Then at nights whenever Bheema's barks,he's the first one to run to the pen and makes sure Bheema's fine.

Believe me or not,I'm one of his biggest fans,introduced to his works when i was 4 years old by my dad (earliest my childhood memories that are available :p)

Busy-ness

Man the busy-ness has taken such a toll.I’ve been spending wayy yy to much time with Selena that I’ve started to ignore morpheus!

Alvinraj is backk! For like 3 months which equals to awesome-ness! So yea at least there’s someone who is gonna be here for me to lepak with.Pretty much the whole gang is around so more lepak-ing ahead I guess! :p

Well as I’ve said earlier relatives have been down this one week,so yea been really caught up with them and all.Furthermore it would be rude for me to be sittin in front of the computer while they’re around.So yea i had no choice but to stay away from the computer and spend some time with them instead.Although i must say I definitely had a great time with them,got to know a couple of new guys too.SO yea overall its not a wasted weekend!

Tuesday,went out with Praba and Alvinraj.Well knowing that our timings would always go wrong.So i was supposed to pick Praba out,so I told him I would pick him up at 7.00 p.m and i told Alvin that we would meet him at 7.30 p.m at PD Eating Point.After leavin my brother at his tuition center Ieft for Praba's place.Reached there exactly at 7.00 p.m.As usual,Malaysian timing :P He only came at 7.30.So then after that bla,bla bla...Not gonna get into the details :p We spoke on some really private topics .

Anyways gonna have a lot more outings now that everyone is down,Just not sure where and when..

Hema's Back!

Finally! Hema's back from dead :p
Selena's been keeping me busy this couple of days and i needed time to actually sort out my travel photographs since i was away for close to 5 days.Then the day after the day i got back my relatives came down so i didn't have much time to blog.They left on Saturday.On Sunday I went for Taekwondo training after somethin which seemed like eternity.

Most of my schoolmates should know that Hema was a Taekwondo freak at large periods of his teen life.Somethin like from 1999 till 2009 :P Celebrating a decade in the sport this year,gonna celebrate it by takin part in the Selangor Open and MAYBE they ICTO(International Clubs Taekwondo Organization) tournament.I was the gold medallist 2 years ago in the junior category.This time I'm gonna be fighting in the senior category and i guess the competition would be tough.Whatever it is,I might not be gettin the opportunity to compete in any of the competitions once i get to India,since i heard the sport is not that popular in India.

Langkawi was awesome,Had a good time lepak-ing here and there and obviously making my Selena feel important was part of the trip :p

I uploaded some of the pictures I like on facebook,I have a lot more on the computer and wil upload it when i have some time.The shots are that great,after lookin at all those pro shots mine seems to b average,anyways I am reading more and more about it and i hope that i would be producing some good shots in the future! :-)

Time Flies

Man,time flies! It feels like the year just started and guess what! It's gonna be the 1st of June.All of a sudden the elusive September,is approaching ever so quickly.Well anyways,nothin much I can do about it.I guess all I can do is sit back and just hope for the best.

Well obviously I was all excited about leaving,but now after close to 6 months of doing close to nothin,I'm rather conditioned to doing nothin :p I'm gonna have a tough time trying to get back into study mood and all but we'll leave that when the date gets nearer.haha.I'd rather just go with the flow.It's saves me a lot of useless brooding.

The weekend was pretty average,although i did go out with two of my former schoolmates on Friday.We left at about 8 at night.Crashed at the local town temple,prayed and at the same time checked out the women :p ( god,forgive me for admiring your creations ) hahaha.Sad to say that the women who come to the temple are increasing in age lol.In other words,OLDDD women come in flockss but the young ones are no where to be seen haha.I guess the indian parents are starting to hide their young girls at home,worried that predators a.k.a Not Hemaraj lol might just capture their hearts.

Anyways after the temple,next stop was Caryn's place.Picked her up,she had cravings for burgers all of a sudden,no idea why (she can get pretty random at times lol) So yea me and Praba weren't in the mood to eat so we decided to get a drink then go lepak by the beach.

Living by the beach is indeed an advantage,it's like the best place to just sit and chill.More importantly,ITS FREE :p So yea we spent sometime chatting and catching up with each other.Then at like 12 midnight we decided to leave for home as it was getting rather late.

Then for the whole weekend i was set back to driving my brother around for all his 'activities'.haha..For all the help I've did for him he's rather ungrateful.Well there's this small help I required him to do but sadly he's so reluctant to help me.He never introduces girls to meee! haha..Even he may have amazingly hot ones.lol..

Well next weekend is going to be all awesome! I would be travellin around,I'd be goin

PD-->Senawang-->Kuala Lumpur-->Penang-->Langkawi-->PD

It starts on the 6th if June and I'd be back in PD on the 10th.
11th to 13th June having my relatives down in PD.So yea havin a bbq party and so on.
Relatives only :p

Thats about it,well Hemaraj would definitely be updating on the trip because he would be accompanied by Janaki Raj (My darling Vaio) and Isabella Raj (My darling broadband modem).We'll see on whether Selena makes it for the trip!

You know what! I really think I might go to heaven after all!

Well you know why,I'll explain it step by step.First step,mum was sweeping the floor then as she was sweeping the first hall,she opened the door to see the patio.

She saw somethin moving around there,and since she's always had a phobia for living things other than humans :p she jumped and ran towards the sofa.I was at the common table,and I literally fell down from my chair.I was so lost for words,i thought the sky was fallin down or somethin!

Then i quickly got up and rushed to her (being the goody son I am :p)I was like,"Amma,Amma,What happened?" And you know what she said? She said,"I don't know" I went blank for a couple of minutes,trying to digest what she exactly means,I mean bloody hell,i fell from the chair :p hahaha..

Then she started pointing towards the patio,I curiously put my head around the door,and I saw this bird which was sooo superrr cuteeee.....And pooor fellow,he couldn fly because he was injured..It was so sad to look at him,so we decided to take him into the house because he might get eaten by a cat or somethin by night fall.So yea we kinda coaxed him into a shoe box,temporarily so that it would be easier to take him to the vet.

Finally dad got back,examined him and decided to take him to the vet.The vet saw him and said that he din break his leg or wing or anythin.He just has a sprained leg.So its best we keep him for like a few days so that his leg would get better.Paid 15 bucks for some muscle relaxants and all.Then went hunting for a cage,Cos he was pretty scared and we're worried he might try to crawl off somewhere.since he can't fly.Cage came to another 18 bucks,

We were told that the bird is some protected species,I'll put a picture soon.o took him back and left him there la.He was all so scared,he didn't eat the first day i think,but he started eatin the followin day.He seems more confident now tho,jumpin around in the cage and all,but he still drags his feet here and there.I decided to name him,"bird" hahaha..practical ehh..

Well i'll be uploading a picture soon,my flickr's givin problem and it gets sooo annoying arghhh! But lets see whether i can put up some description regarding it,well it has dark green feathers,an orange beak,purple head,white chested with purple at the middle of the white chest.and its small! So cutee..:-)

gahh! I've spent the last two days I've spent so much time with the toys that I've neglected my darling,The Rainbow.All of a sudden,i've The Rainbow just doesn't seem herself theses past few days.Blame it on the damn writer,He's been too caught up with his life so much so he's ignored her.Well anyways he's back and he's all pumped up too.Although i must say the author is gonna try to cut down on the words.He's been receiving some feedback regarding his posts.It seems that they're too long and that people are lookin for shorter ones.

Well they do have a point,not many people have the time to actually go through the whole post.They have better things to do then to read long posts..But when i start writing i have problem stoppin,It's like i can go on and on..It just comes as I write.

Well anyways,yea Manchester fans go out there and celebrate.I'm not gonna be all lame and tell you that next season is gonna be different and what not.It's gonna be exactly the same.Although I would love to see Liverpool winning the English Premier League,but logically still very far.Not in reach.

The politics has been hot once more,PPP a disgrace,Penanti election with two independent candidates and no BN candidate?? Very interesting,yet questionable.Everyone in the country knows that they're BN candidates.haha..Well suit themselves.

Dad bought this music CD of Roger Whittaker,i find him to be awesome.Try googling him up.I'm not sure whether you can download his songs from those peer to peer,but no harm done trying la..

I might be leaving for a holiday,most probably during the second week of June.It's rather too early to decide on where we would be going,but I guess we would be stopping by in Penang anyways.

Well yea generally,I've been in love with Sony computers for a really long time.I know many people would choose to say that we're pay for the brand and what not.I choose to disagree,even it may be true that Sony computers are a lil pricey compared to their other counterparts,but it would be unfair to accuse them of producing lousy computers.I personally find Sony laptops to be awesome companions.They never fail me.But then again,I may be biased when passing my opinion regarding it.Whatever it is,I love my Vaio..haha..I hope it lasts the distance. ;-)

Trip to pick dad up!

Date:24th May evening to 25th May morning

Well I have to go pick him up since mum has her classes monday morning :-)
So i get to drive all alone,enjoying the morning breeze of the Tanah Merah Plantations to KLIA.

Why the plantations you ask? Well you see KLIA is pretty near to Port Dickson if we take this internal road which goes through two plantations and a few Kampungs.It's about 30 minutes from Port Dickson.Seriously,it's all greenery all the way.Very beautiful,and at the same time dangerous too.

The road gets really windy,and I personally have seen tonnes of cars in the deep ravines.Mostly those young punks who think they can drive and knock themselves out at neck breaking speeds.One wrong judgement at a corner and there you go,you car skids of the road and you lose control of it.

I would dare say that the road is our so call,'family' road.We've been frequent users of the road since 1998.Approximately 11 years since,we're still afraid of the road.

There's this very interesting 'larangan' which all frequent users know of.There's this indian temple along the road and opposite the indian temple there's a cemetry.Well its more of a Malaysian cemetry in the sense that there's and Indian cemetry,a Christian cemetry,a Islam cemetry and a Chinese cemetry.It stretches for about a few hundred metres along the road.The 'larangan' is that we're not allowed to overtake along the temple,because it would mean that we're disrespectful to the whateveristhere and we're vulnerable to freak attacks.

Believe me or not,but there's been a couple of freak accidents along that stretch and almost all of them are fatal.So we'd rather just abide by the 'larangan' instead of experimenting and killing ourselves in the process.I know call me old fashion and whatever you want to,but if my dad (most sensible man award by Hemaraj) follows by it,then i'd better follow it.

I guess finally i get to go to KL everyday like I usually do with him starting from next week i guess.hahaha

Don't you guys just love happy endings?? No matter where you see it,in the movies,in a wedding it just makes you go 'awww' doesn't it? Haih,I'm a big fan of happy endings,insult me for living in the movies but yea I loveeee happy endings.I dream of it practically everyday.I know dreaming won't take me far but sometimes don't you feel like you want one? But it's always so impossible to reach.Even if it may be within reaching distance,but you just can't seem to get hold of it.

It is true that the ending is the start of a new beginning.And in our lifes,it's always a cycle.Chapters end and begin.I've NEVER seen a happy ending in my books(my life),but it doesn't stop me from dreaming and craving for a happy ending.I've noticed the depression which takes place in so many people and it worries me.Will this some day happen to me?

Well anyways,begin the day with a smile and hope for the best everyday.Ain't that the purpose of living eh? haha

Oooooh...I looveeeee my interrreneeetttt! :-)

I mean I haven't been downloading much this month,didn't really have the mood to.Then Jeffrey started to ask me on whether I've downloaded some tamil songs and I realised that I am pretty much living in the ancient age.So motivated by the fact that I want to be the guy with the latest songs in his computer,I started a downloading spree.I downloaded,songs from 3 tamil movies

Kandasamy (Devi Sri Prasad)
Muthirai (Yuvan Shankar Raja)

and have I ever told you guys how big a fan am I of the Colonial Cousins??!! They are the first Indians to perform on MTV Unplugged!! How cool are they? haha Well I have all their albums on my hard disk and their songs are always a refreshing mix of western and indian music.Hariharan definitely doesn't have to be introduced to the singing scene,with close to 500 tamil songs only to his name,the great vocalist has carved his name to being one of the best singers in India.

And as I was saying how much I loved my internet,proof! here!

Haha..I know awesome righttt? lol...My Isabelle never fails me :P As I've said,although we've had our ups and downs,you'll always be there for me.hahaha..mushy mushy eh..

Beach wedding!

As you can see,I'm super free.LOL..so I kinda find some rather odd stuff to do during my free time.So yea,as random as I get i was just sitting down brooding over the future.Then suddenly I went too much to the future and I was seeing myself getting married.(yea i know,gila random kan :p)

So I'm this very practical guy haha,so i started listing down all my expenses for the wedding and I realised,INDIAN weddings are just freakin expensiveee!! and to top it off,it's really loooonggg hours at the altar with about a million of rituals.( I wonder,do they have enough energy in them for the first night ? :p) Well i'm not that well versed on how other weddings take place,so It's wrong for me to say anythin against any of it.And in addition to that,I'm not insulting the indian tradition for their several hours wedding,I'm sure there's some explanation behind each ritual as they usually do.But if there's a loophole which I can identify in the culture where I can forgo the long ritual,I'll definitely do it.hahaa

So as I noticed,the indian weddings were super expensive,i decided to cut cost and make it a little more interesting.I decided on a beach wedding where I'll limit the attendance to the individuals who I want to be there.Well definitely not in PD,haha,The sight of polluted beaches definitely is a turn off.So maybe in the carribeans or the maldives or somethin :p And to top it off,for the first time a wedding i would attend where you don't see a sea of fat aunties in sarees :p

As i was busy planning out,somethin hit me.My mum,i forgot about her.What would she say?

So i mustered up all my courage,and I asked about it.

Hemaraj:Amma,don't you feel that the indian weddings are rather long winded?

Amma:Yea it is,it's quite tiring too.

Hemaraj:Since its so tiring,WHYY don't we do somethin different?

Amma:Different? Like what? Gettin married naked?

Hemaraj:hahaha,Well that definitely would be a first.And don't you think its expensive?

Amma:Yeaa,even last time....bla bla bla (on how much her wedding cost and all and some super long stories)

Hemaraj:So I was thinkinggg.....maybeee......I could.....Have a beach wedding instead! ( in like one breath)

Amma:(IN TAMIL) I'll whack you with my slipper. :P

Hemaraj:But whyyy? A beach wedding would be so cooool! I want I want I want..

Amma:CANNOT,what would the elders say and all?

Hemaraj:That i'm the coolest guy ever?? I'll bring an indian priest along if you want one

Amma:What about all the sacred fire and all?

Hemaraj:Aiyooooo...Don't want to get married la like that means....or kahwin lari la :p

How random can i get :p So yea thats about it.After that suddenly i realised I'm close to 9-10 years away from getting married..hahaha..SO i guess i have a lot more time to decide and to brain wash my mum tooo...

How would i get married if I got married to muslim? I was thinkin muslim style and indian style..Two weddings...Acceptable ah? Won't JAIS ppl come after me or somethin?
And is it compulsory for me to convert?? I need a loophole for that too :p

All viable options should be looked into before deciding.. :-)

Phase in life

Hmm..the super short days are now getting longerrr,I guess this is one way god is trying to get back to me.Well anyways,somehow Hemaraj's been hit by some bug which he is yet to know nor identify.It has too many names,and it's been in his life for ages.I mean seriously ages.It's more of a situation where desperation takes over instead of logic.Nothin to shout out about anyways,its more of like a phase in life where you find some points in life to be a neccesity when it really isn't.

Well I've started playing tennis again,and i realise i really suck at it.Haha..Which explains why I play in the morning,like 8 in the mornin..haha..So I guess i gotta go to the court more often! And also swimming,I needed variation in the cardio workouts..so i have to do that occasionally too..I'm hopelessly dreaming of having a body like one of those bollywood actors.But nah..I'm far frm that.The flabby tummy is much too much a giveaway for my faraway dream.hahaa.

So much for a post,It's pretty much nothing.Politics stagnant buat sementara.:p Next monday,the new results would be out I think.So just wait and see la,I'm pretty confused at the moment.

The days seem to be so short these days,I wake up in the morning and before I know it It's bedtime.I wonder why? It's either I'm having to much fun or I'm just dead bored.In addition to that,I spend long hours inactive just sitting and looking into the empty space.I might get an award for the best time waster ever.I swear if there was a degree in it,i would have completed it with first class honours and would be on my way to completing that elusive PHD.hahaha

Lets see whether i can try to summarise my day,Well in the morning as usual I had to go the bank *damn!,I go to the bank too often,but how come i never get any :-(* So this really annoying thing happened,Well I had this bad experience with one of the banks once so much so i didn't dare go to the bank for like 3 months.haha.I'll tell you about it,Lets say it was funny yet sad.

Well as usual,parents gave me the money and I had to pay for one of the loans so I went.This Bank XXX happened to purchase a new machine for that deposit money thingy.Well i'm pretty good with those machines,since i've been using them for about a good one year before the bank got it.So i was really happy that now transactions in Bank XXX,so that day i went in there,and i saw this man struggling so much with the machine.The security guard was next to him practically guiding him through the whole thing.I was like sighing all the way,so annoyed.Then finally the guy was done with his transaction,so It was my turn,I was like dead-ass confident so went there started punching buttons in and all.Then I realised,GOD'S WATCHING :p I put my money in there,IT GOT STUCK!!! I was like WTF! I looked left,looked right.Guess what i did,I smacked the bloody machine so hard,the Customer Service lady got up.Then I started hitting the machine.hahaha.I was like what the hell,then i had to lodge a report about the money which got stuck and all that.Btw I Only got the money back after twooo monthss! :-(

So today I went to the same bank after so long,I saw that damn machine,walked past it.When and took the forms where I have to fill up manually.Pressed a number and waited patiently.Then it was my turn,I took the money and gave the lady and she looked at me and was like,You should use the machine.I looked at her and told her I DONT WANT TO...And she thought I was some dumb dude,and so she said " Do you know that there's someone assisting you there?"I was already getting annoyed,I told her back,"Do you know that my money got stuck there the last time i used it" Then she shut up for a while,Then i started la,i was tellin her how annoying was it to come to the bank so frequently just to check on the damn money which got stuck.I told her since you don't have much to do anyways,its your job to handle my matters,So just deposit this money and i would be on my way.She was giving reasons and all la...I told her one sentence and she just shut up.I told her,"All the time you spend explaining,you could have just taken my money and deposited it right?" Boom,she shuts up gets the money deposited and apologizes.

I would have actually been polite to her,if she din give me the face expression.She was sittin at her bloody counter eating some snacks and she had the cheek to roll her eye like i'm some dumb fool.

Today would definitely be a day to remember,the country's judiciary system finally made a decision in favour of the opposition.( or was it candy to the kids who got slapped?).Well then the question comes in,Was Barisan really unaware of the fact that they were going against the law? Or were they trying their luck?

It must have been music to the ears of the 'new' ruling party of Perak,after all that embarassment they've suffered.Been hurled with abuses,ungrateful party members who crave for money and power,been thrown out of the dewan,having their assembly under the tree,been kicked out of your office you legally hold,being accused of being an illegal ruling party,being accused of disrespecting the royal family,being addressed at public as the menteri besar wannabe.With the government rallying troops behind them,trying to have a shot at the opposition party everytime they get a chance,the opposition party might just have the last laugh,(or thats what they think)

Well Najib did ask us not to get to excited,and I actually gotta agree with him.It would be more of,"Don't get excited guys,more to come" haha...

Well Uthayakumar hasn't passed a public statement yet,so we are yet to understand what he would be planning and engineering out..I have a strong feeling that Barisan would try to seem all lovey dovey to HINDRAF.After all the turning point in the last election was caused by them.And Uthayakumar was asked by MalaysiaKini reporter on whether he would consider making Hindraf a political party.He said that if it was required,he wouldn't mind forming a political party.Would it be a wise decision? Lets say a party is really formed,how are they going to appeal to the Malaysians in general? Wouldn't it be impossible knowing that they've been all for Indians all while? Well most probably they would have to join as a component into the Pakatan Rakyat.
Or you know they might just join Barisan as component party.

And MIC,why the sudden love towards HINDRAF? you always hated them,brought cops to their assembly and locked the temple gates so that they din get to escape.And NOW after countless abuses by the Indians and a tarnished reputation,you go and ask for an appointment with Hindraf to sit and talk??Datuk.Subra,smart thing to do knowing that you might just be in line to replace Samy...Don't worry,Samy has things pretty well planned out.So just sit back and enjoy the ride.

To dear Uthayakumar sir,don't be tricked into believing by all the empty promises be firm and make your stay in ISA a lesson to learn to everyone.and also sir,try appealing to everyone,by now we should realise that a lot of other Malaysians are being ill-treated.Have you been to Sabah and Sarawak? They are no better than the Indians here.As a matter of fact the Indians are a lot better off then them.Have you been to the perkampungan Melayu in those rural areas? They have not been any better than the indians if not worst.The DEB has been good to only a select few in the country,a lot of suffering is going on.You have the capabilty of rallying forces.Why not go on a Malaysian scale? Appealing to the country would make you the idol the world needs..I know you would say,Why clean the country,when i have'nt cleaned my backyard? What if the backyard is the country?

Anyways who am I to question the decisions you make.I don't determine anything,but i sure can say that the youngsters have grown up listening to all the lies the parents have told them.I know it hasn't been helped much by the growing racism in schools which definitely is something to look about.I have heard in a top school in Port Dickson that,a special 'no question rule' has came up stating that a Non-Malay cannot hold a top post in the prefectorial board.You deprive the young blood of their basic understanding of the hierachy and you are in the process of upsetting the entire racial balance.Its getting serious and before you know it it'll peak and racial disharmony spells chaos.Schools,the cause of all racial slurs,instead of nipping it at the bud,you go preach to the whole wide world except your students?

How exciting can it get?

According to my friend Jane,Politics more fun than sex :p I can't really comment on that since i'm the virgin hahaha..But i definitely can say its more fun than porn ..hahaha...( yea,i watch porn so put me in jail :p) Well anyways the rapid response from the ruling party to the Perak Ordeal by releasing 13 ISA detainees (including the famous HINDRAF trio) would seem very familiar to many.The rapid diverting of attention somehow rings a bell doesn it? Tun did that a lot didn't he?Not pointing fingers haha..The so called term 'mahathirism' definitely comes into the picture.Well we can't really say much regarding the similar crowd control methods,one things for sure Tuk Samy would be extremely happy about this,thinking that this was a success engineered by him and convinced by others,he would have passed an awesome press conference regarding his 'achievement'.Anyways a long way more to go,we'll see what serves up as breakfast tomorrow.

Watched Guru,(directed by the great Mani Ratnam) for like the gazillionth time.I still shed tears watching it,it's just so mind blowing.People may choose to differ in the sense that it may seem lame and that it's just literally impossible in real life but so what,it brings about a 'can do' spirit which is exaclty what everyone needs.Irrespective of where you come from,everything must seem possible in your eyes and only in that way you can improve yourself.Obstacles are just meant for us to get stronger but never to hold us back from advancing.

Speaking about indian movies,I must say that definitely do not agree on how women are portrayed in Indian movies.They still are made to look so naive and that they're so lost in the world and without a man they can do nothing but stand there helplessly hoping that a miracle would happen.They make the women look like objects and doll them up in revealing outfits just to make the movies run in the cinemas.Although i must say there has been improvement in the overall portrayal of women in the movies,just not sufficient thats all.I know,everyone knows the Indian culture for long has look down upon women,finding women to be inferior to the opposite sex.The millions of female babies who are killed in India would prove such a culture definitely exists.But I'm not saying that it's only the Indian culture,take a look at the United States,At one time it was impossible for a lady to become a doctor just because it was a norm for women to be less educated than the men.The first lady to become a doctor was Elizabeth Blackwell and note that it was only in the 19th century(1895),US produced their first woman medical doctor and India produced their first female doctor in 1886,Kadambini Ganguly.However still its not about which country is more superior and all,its just that time has come for the equality in gender to be more prominently practiced and we should start at least in the entertainment industry.

However take a look at Malaysia and you would realise that the women awareness here is quite strong.Zeti Aziz,Gabenor Bank Negara,Wan Azizah,top opposition party leader,Bar Council President,Datuk Ambika,Shahrizat,Nurul Izzah Anwar just a couple of names to show the strength women are represented by here in Malaysia.So maybe the country ain't so bad eh? ;)

A day of the 'budak baik' :p

The day has been pretty uneventful once more,all the damn reasons people give for mistakes (Perak la,what else) hahaha.Well got up early,had not much to do.Mum called me and asked me to come over to the house,it seems she had some work for me.She was pretty upset by the fact that the Mid-term exams were next week For SKPD that is.It was supposed to be in 2 weeks time,but all of a sudden the exams were rescheduled to next week which served as a bomb to her.Now she's having a string of extra classes for her students.Friday,Saturday and Sunday she has classes from 8 in the morning to 9 at night.She would be dead tired by the time it reaches next Monday.

So yea,mum wanted me to get some books xeroxed.Since i was supposed to go check on the money transfers,I agreed to do so.So went and collected the books from mum,went to the legendary 'Jackson' shop.We've been loyal customers since 1998.Haha...11 years! so much so we have credit facilities with them.haha..

Went to the bank,I had three ATM cards with me.I just went there to check on whether the transfers are in or not,so i looked like an idiot.I went to the ATM machine,and there was this considerable line behind me but i didn't care.I put the first card in,hit some numbers and so on.Saw the balance then i took out the card.The guy behind me was so happy that I finished the transaction so quickly.I swear he glowed for a while,haha.Then i look at him,and just for the fun of it looked at him then inserted the 2nd card.He was all shattered for a while,i managed to sneak a cheeky grin in..haha ( I sound like a gremlin),then repeated the same dumb steps...This time,I got the card out,turned around as though I was going to leave then did a quick turn and jammed the third card in hahahaaha! It was awesome! I think he must have sweared silently..haha..he was bloody pissed i guess,but he din say anythin.I quickly did whatever i wanted to do and ran out of the bank.hahaha..In case,he wanted to get physical or somethin..LOL

So that was about the most exciting event for me today,oh and yea I fantasized myself at a fugitive and tried stealth movements in the nearby mall..hahaha...It's exciting to see people stare at you like you're mad.I was done playing 'the lunatic' in town.Got back home,crashed on my lovely bed,started playing my 100 year old PS2.I bought this new game Smackdown Vs Raw 2009.It's really somethin which i should'nt be playing at my age but i get so much fun out of it! It's button mashing which translates to killer moves on wrestlers.I never liked watching wrestling on TV but they always make great games! Awesome career modes! In addition to that,women wrestlers tend to be over-designed in the game in terms of physical attributes :p If you don't believe me,go grab the game and you'll realise,I speak the truth! ;)

so that I would be doing some duet dance sequence with a hot bollywood actress everyday :p

Mockery in Perak!

This would be one of the days where everythin went wrong! Well i was supposed to renew my driving license and also my passport.So in the morning,mum told me to get up early to get this things done.

So i woke up at about 8.30,had my breakfast and left for town.I first decided to go to the Post Office to get my license done first.So i went there and told them i wanted to renew my license and get my full license.I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO GO TO JPJ TO GET IT DONE ( 1st setback).I said okay,so then i decided that since I couldn't get my license done,might as well i go renew my passport.So took the car,grumbled all the way to the Immigration Department.Went in and enquired about what exactly I have to do.They said i had to buy a form and so i paid RM1 for that.Then she asked for my Identity Card,then,she saw that then she told me that i had to change my IC WTF!? (2nd setback).I knew it was gonna come on of these days,so she said i couldn't renew the passport if I don't have a new IC! arggh!

So again filled with anger and frustration,i go out of the bloody immigration department and went to the Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara.I went there told the lady that i wanted to make a new IC because i'm too old for the current IC.She asked me whether i wanted to change the address,i told her yes.SO BECAUSE OF THAT I MUST PRESENT A WATER BILL OR ELECTIRICITY BILL! haih..

So i had no choice,had to go back get the damn bill..Gave it to them,and at that time i was all sweaty and I looked a sight,I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE FOR THE NEW IC! (4th setback).
So yea the picture,turned out to be horrible and i guess i'll have to keep this damn IC for some time more..haha..

I got the passport done anyways and since Port Dickson is like a god forsaken place i have to wait for a week before i can get it.So overall,it would be one of those days where everythin went wrong.

But i guess its not a global crisis haha,but i would have to express my disappointment at what happened in Perak.This definitely is a mockery to the country's democratic rule as clearly none of it was practiced.Table Thumping,table climbing,disrespect of the venue,clear lack of understanding of instructions and unnecessary man-handling of individuals.Hand Cuffs? Handcuffs on Zuraida( Ampang MP)? because? She's opposition?

I feel for Speaker V.Sivakumar,it's hard for me to stomach the way the motion was tabled by Zambry to remove V.Sivakumar.The motion was tabled AFTER V.Sivakumar expelled the BN members.Mind boggling,i swear it was like the scene from the Taiwan parliament where they end up fighting and throwing chairs,but mayb a tad less serious than that..I'm not gonna say anythin,just reflect on yourself and decide.This maybe what the ruling party wants but is this what the rakyat wants?? Don't disappoint us my dear government.You realised what happened in the last election? It could be worst than that this time.

As i've said the country is awesome,the politician's destroy it.. :-(

I want to learn tamil! :-(

Argh,I was so damn tired yesterday,so much so i couldn't bring myself to type a post out.I went to bed early.I have no idea why i'm so tired.It's like I've taken so much of rest until where i've reached a point where i'm TIRED of taking rests.Maybe that can explain the fatigue i'm experiencing LOL...

Well anyways,i've been thinking about my biggest regrets in my life so far,and i've summed it up to a couple of them.All of them are my biggest my regrets but if I have to choose,i would have to say that i regret not learning the tamil language well enough.

It's just that the first language i learnt was English.The second was Malay.And while i was learning this two languages,i was receiving informal education in tamil but it was like very rare.Then i happened to have a couple of months of some tamil tuition,where i was taught to read and write,but it was only for a few months so i'm pretty hopeless at it.

I grew up as the 'karrupu suuthe vellakaaran' :p (translation:black bottom,white guy) haha..yea i got it a lot..I tried speaking tamil,but i would always get laughed at,they say i destroy the language which didn't do much to help my confidence when speaking the language.I used to watch tamil movies while reading the subtitles and i never watched a tamil movie without subtitles at that time.Which explains my lack of interest in going to the cinema to watch tamil movies.So yea,i knew some tamil songs,never knew the meaning cos they were to advanced for me.I could say simple things but nothin more than that..my sentences were screwed.haha
I also had the ability to make good words sound rude :p I became better in the language up to a point where i can understand the language but still had confidence problems in speaking the language.

Well that would be up till my Form 5,once i got to college,i lived with this indian family.And that was where i improved tremendously in my language and got in touch with my more indian side.I started to listen to more indian songs,movies,i started to speak the language now.But still i can't read :-( I always wanted to read those ancient books and the holy literature and all.

you know what,i never posted in Malay before! So i'm gonna try doing one in Malay today :p Don't laugh on my 'tatabahasa'! It's been closed to 3 years since i last wrote anything in Malay,so don't expect much hahaha..

Hampir genap tiga hari saya berada di rumah dan saya sudah mula merasai kebosanan yang melanda saya sebelum ini.Seperti yang saya katakan sebelum ini,sejak saya mula bekerja dengan ayah,hidup saya sekurang-kurangnya ada sedikit tujuan buat sementara.Walaubagaimanapun keseronokan tersebut hanyalah untuk sementara disebabkan oleh keputusan ayah untuk berlepas ke Amerika Syarikat.Keputusan beliau untuk menghabiskan 2 minggu di negara asing,menyebabkan saya tidak ada pilihan lain,selain daripada duduk di rumah dan membantu ibu sementara menunggu ayah kembali dari perantauan.Namun begitu,sememangnya tidak wajar untuk saya memberi pelbagai alasan bagi kebosanan saya.Saya sepatutnya mencari jalan penyelesaian bagi kebosanan saya daripada menjadikannya sebuah masalah yang besar.

Seperti yang saya senantiasa(I didn't mispell it) katakan,Daripada hanya memberikan masalah,kita sebolehnya-bolehnya mencari satu jalan penyelesaian untuk masalah tersebut dahulu sebelum membina satu persepsi di dalam minda kita.Oleh sebab itu,saya telah memutuskan yang saya akan berusaha untuk mencari jalan untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini.

Pemimpin negara dan sebahagian masyarakat yang fanatik haruslah sedar yang situasi kini bukan lagi seperti situasi 50 tahun dahulu di mana,prinsip 'give and take' dipraktikan.Sudah tiba masanya prinsip,'Equal Rights' dipraktikan.Walaubagaimanapun haruslah dimulakan secara berperingkat-peringkat untuk mengelakkan 'shock' kepada penduduk negara.Semua kaum telah bermuafakat dan hidup harmoni antara satu sama lain demi mencapai kemerdekaan.Berdasarkan konstitusi yang ditulis,kemerdekaan diberikan kepada negara ini disebabkan semua kaum majoriti berjaya bersatu demi mencapai satu matlamat.Setelah 50 tahun,di manakah permuafakatan tersebut? Kebanyakan penduduk telah didorong oleh pelbagai pihak 'racist' untuk mempercayai yang wujudnya jurang di antara penduduk kaum lain dan negara ini dimiliki oleh salah satu kaum sahaja.Saya harus bersetuju yang sudah lama perkara sebegini wujud dalam pemikiran penduduk.Secara jujurnya,saya juga telah didedahkan kepada pelbagai bentuk,'racism' sejak kecil lagi.Sejauh manakah benarnya pernyataan tersebut? Untuk saya,dorongan negatif ini adalah hasil daripada politik kaum yang telah menjadi tonggak kejayaan parti politik.Bukankah sebegitu? Penduduk Malaysia,tidak racist.Parti Politik Malaysia,adalah racist.Sudah tiba masanya,politik mengikuti arus baru.Arus di mana kemajuan negara menjadi tonggak kejayaan parti politik.Prinsip One Malaysia yang Perdana Menteri baru kita cuba mempraktikan haruslah mulalah diaplikasikan.Sudah cukup percakapan mengenainya dan sudah tiba masanya aplikasi prinsip tersebut menjadi contoh kepada masyarakat.

Sudah lama rasanya orang tua kami masing-masing menyemai sifat perkauman ke dalam pemikiran kita sejak muda lagi.Jangan menyangkal pendapat saya,sebab saya tahu.Saya pernah mengalaminya dan saya faham yang ramai lagi penduduk mendapat 'pendidikan racist informal' di rumah.Mengapakah perkara sebegini berlaku? Ketidakharmonian sudah mula wujud di sekolah-sekolah.Sekiranya tidak dibendung dengan cepat,masalah ini akan menular dan akhirnya menjadi masalah negara.

Rayuan kepada penduduk Malaysia,fikirkanlah nenek moyang kita yang rela meninggalkan negara mereka demi mengharapkan satu masa depan yang lebih baik untuk cucu-cicit mereka.Sememangnya berdasarkan fakta,tiada satu kaum yang merupakan tuan di tanah ini selain daripada Orang Asli.Jadi adakah wajar kita bergaduh untuk sesuatu yang sememangnya bukan milik kita? Berkongsilah tanah ini dan anda akan mendapati yang negara kita bukanlah seteruk mana yang disangka ataupun dianggap oleh fanatik.

Rayuan kepada parti politik,cuba keluar daripada pemikiran kolot yang penyatuan semua kaum adalah 'impossible'.Apabila kami bersatu,anda akan mendapati yang pemilihan pemimpin negara akan mula menjadi 'performance based' daripada "colour based' atau 'political party based'.Kami,penduduk Malaysia akan membuat kamu bekerja untuk kepercayaan kami dan hanya begitulah arena politik di negara ini akan mencapai kematangan 'Developed Country'

Just as i thought that my Saturday was gonna be pretty much uneventful,i received a call from my brother (I tend to overuse the word,but then again in Malaysia everyone's related to each othr) With reference to the word,uncle,aunty,mak cik,pakcik,abang,and all words which are specifically supposed to be used for relatives.And honesty I love that culture :) So yea,he was down in PD with his friends and asked me if i would like to join him.I used to live in his house when I was in college and ever since then I believe i have grown to be very fond of the family.Well anyways so he was down in PD for a small fishing trip.He recently developed a sudden interest into fishing.Well,its more of a craze to him now,irrespective of whether he catches any :p

So yea,he called me so i decided to join him for lunch at first.I quickly took a quick shower jumped into my unwashed jeans for ages :p (I don't like washing,wastin water ain't my thing,i'm all environment friendly now you see :p)So took the car got there,I was in spices spent some time there.I must say his friends are hilarious! I was cracking at every word they said!

After that they decided to head back to his bungalow,we went there spent some time talking and fooling around.One of them was tired so he decided to go catch up on some z's.While then,me,brother and his other friend sat talking in the hall for somethin like 2 hours.

Once it became cooler,we decided to head to the beach for some fishing.I never had any sort of experience fishing,so it was quite interesting to see them get thier gear ready and all.We went to this relatively unknown beach in Port Dickson.I've never seen the place before,and this was the first time i saw it.So yea it was nice,there was pretty much no one except for some couples lepak-ing there.haha

They started fishing and i was more into checking the place out,went on a long walk along the beach,just exploring the place.It turned out to be pretty cool,with some massive dead coral reefs,a lot of crabs,beautifuuuul rocks :) The only sad thing about the place is the lack of women in two-pieces :p hahaha..(btw ayesha,not blaming the hormones anymore eh,i'm just a bloody pervert hahaha) Okay,so after that this extremely interesting happened,a group of Indonesians came to the place in a van.Some men,and women.At first they seem like they were gonna go for a dip in the sea or somethin,THEN i see all those guys pitching a masssive tent! Not a camp,a tent! which looked like a oversized camp and they looked like they could just move in.The had three fluorescent bulb lamps,they had a radio,they had a LOT of food.They had a damn generator for god's sake! i was like wow,man,Indonesians really know how to live.

After imagining myself in thier situation for a while,i realised that i would do okay if left alone in some god forsaken jungle.It got like really dark,we decided to pack up go and go look for food( not literally).Went to a chinese restaurant,had FOOD :) then we decided to get back home,but half way through,one of them came up with this crazy idea of playing snooker so yea we went to this nice place in town.Played a game,WE WON :p although i must say i suck at it :p Once we were done with it,drove back to the bungalow slept like a bloody log,got up in the morning and said bye to all of them and drove back..So much for the fishing trip,but it was fun nevertheless although scantily clad women on the beach would have definitely made my day :p

andd for the picture,it's frm my phone camera which surprisingly produces reasonable above average pictures :) The beachhhh yang kosonnggg....

FInally after much coaxing,i managed to extend my 'camera buying' deadline till next month :)I just don't feel confident yet in what i'm about to commit.Everytime i get into a camera shop,i come out a lot more confused than before,which is frustratingg!I go in SO set on what i want,and i come out ever so damn confused.I've decided that i'm not gonna think about anythin related to camera's at least for 2 weeks,just to get my sense back Or until dad comes backk....I'm a little paranoid when it comes to spending money,i just hate making a bad purchase and then come to realising that i regret it.I'm sure many of you guys go out shopping,purchase a top or somethin which you really like and then come back and realise that you don't like it?? Annnnd you nevvveerrr wear it! I've been there! and the feeling suckssss...haha.

The last time i went crazy like this was when i wanted to get a game console when i was 14! I was like super damn confused on whether to get the PS2 or the Xbox,or the Game Cube,or the whatever was in the market at that time.It took me two freaking months to decide,and finally i decided on the PS2 which i never never never regretted! Seee doing research is goood..but don't overdo it like how i do.But planning your purchase before hand,may save you some cash and also saves you a lot of trouble.

I stand by this main principle which i came up on my own,(ISRP) IdentifyScoutResearchPurchase.

Identify-Understand what do you want to purchase

Scout-Look at the current market and see what is available

Research-Read and analyse which product would suit you best,in terms of your budget,etc

Purchase-Go to the shop or place of purchase which offers you value for money and also ' after- service'

Believe me,you can use this principle anytime for almost every single thing you wanna buy,but don't overuse it.Don't go in doing this to buy a bloody toothpaste tho..hahaha

you know i had this one crush in kindergarden with a chinese girl in my kindy.I was super madly in love with her that i was dreaming of gettin married with her and all hahaha(i started early,blame it on those damn hormones :p).I occasionally thought that we were in some sort of a mutual feeling relationship at that time but to be in love was like a taboo at that time..haha..It was really cute tho but yea obviously it didn't work out.Someday we just left back for home not knowing that it was the last day of kindy and i never met her again :( Recently I got in touch with her again,and we exchanged numbers.I might be meeting her sometime soon as it seems that she has moved from Ipoh to Petaling Jaya now.We'll see whether there would be any sparks :p *reignitin the old flame*

haha..well my sudden influx in the number of amazing women i've been meeting in such a short period of time has certainly increased my optimism! WELL my excitement definitely lets out my deep,dark secret that i haven't been havin my fair share of women lately :p not in that sort of way,but yea kurang wanita dalam hidup saya! haha

so yea you see today dad made me follow uncle and another worker to go for the final presentation to MIMOS people.Well it was more like the final presentation of the entire system to them.Dad choose not to follow,as he said it wasn't much of a matter.I don't think much people are aware of MIMOS ( R&D organisation that functions as an advisor to the Malaysian Government on technologies, policies and strategies relating to technology development) and they are also in charge in monitoring the progress of projects which are given grants by MOSTI.MIMOS is located in TPM(Technology Park Malaysia),Bukit Jalil. My dad and me left frm PD at about 9.00 and we reached Bukit bintang at about 10.20 a.m.My uncle was already waiting for me,as we were suppose to meet the MIMOS people at about 11.00.So dad went to th office while i carried my laptop and left with uncle.

We left for MIMOS immediately.On our way toMIMOS, uncle was briefing me on the system and i was required to test the short codes on our way there to ensure that everything is working.So it was working well,and he was pretty happy with it.There were a couple of minor glitches but was easily handled by him.Once we got there,we were asked to come up by one of the officers,if i'm not mistaken her name was lydia i think.We were brought into the conference room where we met up with another guy who i can't seem to remember his name.Then we were waiting for a lady,and then this lady came in.I mean she was pretty by my standards,but what was an amazing turn on was the way she handled herself.She seemed super smart (MAJOR turn on haha) and her accent which was SOOO sexay..:p And yea i happen to have an eye for independent women.The sight of heels too :p but that's just my screwed up fantasy ;p

I'm not gonna go on describing her,cos someday she might stumble upon this and it would leave me in a very embarassin position haha.BTW we can totally ignore the fact that she's about an average of 7-9 years older than me...(older womennn :D).Well anyways,things went on pretty well.We aced it leavin my dad pretty happy with the way things are taking place.

He's leavin for India on the 1st of May which means i've gotta stay back to handle matters here :(
then US of course after that.

Well then after everythin was done,dad and me decided to go camera huntin..You know those window shoppin camera thingy haha...So dad happens to find the camera's of my choice rather disappointin.. *butt whyyy :( * I don't know what he's thinkin,he took a look at the D90 which was like freakin 4k.And i was like,dad that's like super out of my budget.He looked at it,he said this looks much more impressive and put it away. DUHH ITS FREAKIN EXPENSIVEE..he gave me that mysterious look again,i don't know what to expect but i know for sure that he won't be gettin me the D90 even if he gave me a super small hint that he might.(i take small things big,so yea you can't take my words ;p)

Anyways,there goes my month worth of research.Just for my dad to come and make me all jumbled up once more.I had a discussion with my sifu,Venn (she makes really good names) She named her camera Jordan (gayyy :p) but yea really..So i was thinkin of namin mine,somethin like Mariammah d/o Nikonsamy if she was a Nikon or Mariammah d/o Canonsamy is she was a Canon! well i finally came to the conclussion that it would be either Selena Raj or Serena Raj.Whichever seems better at the time of the day :p *i love puttin my name behind other names*

Well the title says it all and the smiley is because it was super fun! :)

Well since my grand-dad passed away on saturday,so his son a.k.a my dad's cousin was not able to come.My dad and him work together on the projects.So we happen to have a meeting today with people from Air Asia regarding some ticketing system which we are trying to introduce,i can't reveal much as it's pretty hush hush..The last time we revealed the system,some company tried to copy it.Luckily we got the entire system patented to protect us from possible violations.

Well anyways,we were meeting the Air Asia people in an informal meeting in Pan Pacific Hotel,KLIA.We had lunch with them regarding the matters and all.However i was not able to sit with them during the discussion as i had to be on standby for the meeting with MOSTI tomorrow.I was busy testing out the USSD menu's.

SO yea,the day started at 9.My dad and me had to rush to Kl first,eventhough KLIA was nearer to us as we had to take our laptops from the office in KL.WE don't carry our computers back for the weekends.So we had to run at neck breaking speeds to get to KL,collected all our stuff then ran all the way back to KLIA.

After that once we got there,they started off the meeting first,while i was in the lobby busy communicating with the people in office.So they have this place in the lobby where you can order drinks,so i ordered a coke.I was not thirsty but the WAITRESS are SUPER hot! :p So yea i kept on smiling at them,they must have thought i'm some perverted dude or somethin.hahaha..Then later dad called me asked me to come have lunch with them,so yea went in and started going on a food rampage.

I have two weaknesses,one women,second food :p
I went crazy,they had everythin i wanted,started off with some salmon,a couple of slices of raw fish with thousand island sauce,and some sushi and some rice.Later went on,and got myself some smoked chicken,quail,oysters,and prawns.Once i was done with that,i got hooked on to the desserts :)

Caramel Custard as usual,chocolate marshmallows,a slice of blackforest cake,some chocolate soufflé,Chocolate truffle,Mango pudding :p I told you i love food :p

Well the bill came to somethin like 115 bucks per person,but it was super worth it :)

Then once we were done with the meeting,dad decided to call it a day and so we left for homee :)

Well anwyways tomorrow would be a much busier day as we are expecting to meet up with MOSTI people and a discussion with MBF regarding the commercial agreement.

2 Hours with my college friends!

The weekend is finally here! :) It’s a good time for me to catch up on my sleep! I seriously gotta start sleeping well or I’ll have those dark rings around my eyes.I forgot to write in the last post! I met a couple of college friends on Thursday! Prem,Jaya and Allen.Well I was suppose to meet them in college that day,but I had to catch up on some work then later I got a call from Allen saying that they would be coming down to KLCC to meet me.So at about lunch time,I told my dad that I would be going to meet the guys.
He said no problem so I went.

KLCC is about 5-7 minutes walk from my dad’s place so I walked there.Allen as usual made me do stupid things,he called me and asked me to meet them in ToyCity in KLCC.So I went there and started looking for them,I couldn’t find them,so I asked the salesguy on how many ToyCity shops are there in KLCC.Obviously he said one,so I came out of Toy City and sent a message to Allen (I hate to waste my credit on stupid stuff haha) Later I realized that that they were sitting somewhere near there,so went say hi..We started our stupid jokes as usual,Allen and Jaya being our center of attention.I was starving so I decided to go have something to eat.The guys weren’t hungry as a result of some drinks in college.So I decided to go to Burger King my favourite fast food outlet,ordered my favourite Chicken Royale went and sat down with the guys.It’s a great thing that there were free refills as there was one cup with 4 straws..haha. We had fun talking about all our times in college.We agreed that we gotta go have another outing before we all leave for uni.

So far we’ve chosen Langkawi as our destination for the outing.The dates are yet to be confirmed but most probably we would be going at the end of May somewhere after the 18th of May.I really hope it works out,for at least we could meet up for one last time before going off.

Still super confused about the camera haha.I even went to the extend to make a call to my family friend in India regarding it.Well anyways I guess I should get it before my dad leaves for the States.He’ll be leavin for India most probably on the 3rd of May then to US on the 6th or 7th of May.No idea how long he’s gonna be there but his early prediction would be his whole trip away from Malaysia would be about 20 days.

Anyways he’s not going for a vacation or anything, so I’m not jealous: p there’s a business opportunity and therefore he’s going. The reason he would be going to India would be to handle some of his business matters to and to meet his friend Dr.Rao.

Other than my parents, another individual who would command my respect would be Dr.Rao.He’s everything he wanted to be, he came through all possible obstacles to come up in life and now he’s super wealthy and he totally deserves it. The greatest difference I see in a super wealthy man in India and in Malaysia would be their attitude. I feel the rich ppl in Malaysia are greatly overated.They tend to behave like they are on top of the world.

One of the best examples I can give is this one pharmaceutical company my dad was talking to for some medicine production. I won’t reveal the company’s name but they’re a local company. So supposedly they have about RM5 million paid up capital or something which they claim to be great and all and their directors and their staff behaved like they were so superior and that they are doing a favor to my dad by listening to his offer of a tender to them. I STRESS on the word TO THEM! And so they got on the nerves of my dad, due to their super stuck up behaviour.Then my dad approached a pharmaceutical company in India and it was this Chettiar guy(a caste if I’m not mistaken who happen to be good in business).He owns the company and he came to meet my dad when dad was in India. So he came in his Mercedes S350, came to a nearby mamak stall type in India and sat there and ordered a tea. He was wearing a white shirt and a vesti(the sarong thingy Indians wear).And he WAITED for my dad to come. Then when my dad came, he was so super polite to him and the way he treated my dad was amazing. So then they decided to discuss matters, and to dad’s surprise this guy’s pharmaceutical company has about USD20 million paid up capital and he was making about USD 5 million per year.(his earnings from the pharma company alone that is).

But I’m not saying all rich people are like that in Malaysia, actually I don’t really know how to judge fortunes and all. But some of them I happen to see seriously have some attitude problems. Sometimes super rich people are very down to earth and the people who THINK they are rich are super stuck up. Remember my friends, when you die, you end up in soil or ashes. You can never bring your money along, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t leave money for nice people like Hemaraj: p

Ahh…the amount of reading I’ve been through all those books and forums and forums and websites, I’m still amazed that I’m still standing. Well anyways I passed the last assignment dad gave me with flying colours.haha..Now it is down to the final assignment, BUYING TIME (Masa untuk membeli)! But I tell you BUYING TIME is like the most difficult thing in the world! My dad told me,” Okay son, now you go out there and find me the best deal you can get and come back to me”. Well I know I’ve been saying that I’ve been eye-ing the Sony A200 but now all of a sudden after visiting countless shops and talking to countless people I realized that I would rather settle for a Nikon or a Canon. But I realized that, I’ve gotta commit to one of the brands or not it would be a very expensive affair. So it’s gonna be deciding time, it’s either a Nikon or a Canon. My instinct say that I would be getting the Nikon D60 instead of the Canon 450D.But that is up to my liking the day I’m getting the camera. Like my sifu, Venn said,” You know which camera is yours when you pick it up” Spoken like a true Jedi eh..: p

I just love the Nikon D90 but its way out of my budget for the time being. My dad ain’t dumb! Lol..He told me to play around with a cheaper one before committing to a more expensive one. Just in case I lose interest somewhere along the line haha.

Well that’s my life for the time being, nothing much going on except for the sudden craze into cameras and photography. Other than that, I’ve started playing my Football Manager 2008 once more. I’m a massive fan of the Manager series. I was introduced to the game by my best friend Alvin and since then I’ve been hooked on to it. I’ve played the Manager series from the 2000/2001 season up till the latest 2008/2009 season! Haha..Believe it. I have the latest one but I would rather play the older version the 2007/2008 season instead for some reasons which I do not wish to share.

And since I’ve been working, I can’t update that frequently anymore but I try hard nevertheless

Chinese Man who tried to hit me with a helmet!

Okay life without internet sucks! My broadband has been upset with me these couple of days resulting in its prolonged delay in internet access: p I’ve been trying to get it up but I have not been successful.

Well anyways there was this one incident which pretty much shocked me, the level literacy in the country. Well I know this sounds like a national matter but let’s not take it that far. Well it’s a small incident to be exact.

I stopped by at a local grocery shop to get some items, so I parked my car and opened my door. The door happened to brush against a motorcycle’s mudguard (the thing below the number plate).So then I moved the bike a little to the front and then decided to close my door and go ahead to purchasing the items I wanted from the grocery store. Then I realized that my wallet was in the car so I went back to the car to get the wallet. The owner of the bike happen to be there and he was inspecting his bike, so I told him in English,”Uncle, don’t worry, nothing happened to the bike” with a smile. TO MY SURPRISE, he said,”Apa? Mau gaduh ka?” He was a Chinese guy, he seemed rather uneducated but who am I to judge but then again the way he behaved confirmed my theory. I was pretty surprised, so I repeated what I said again, I told him not to worry. And he told me,”jangan bising bising, apa mau gaduh, fuck fuck”This was exactly what he said.This truly shocked me, for a minute I thought I was speaking French or something. Then I realized something, he doesn’t seem to understand English and he thinks I’m cursing at him in English!! I tried explaining to him since it was a misunderstanding and he was trying to intimidate me. I tried asking him to relax and all that I didn’t say anything bad to him and I was being respectful about it. My tone explained it all. But he still was adamant that I’m cursing him in English, I tried explaining in Malay but he doesn’t seem to be able to understand that too. This time he was starting to get me on my nerves. I was thinking on whether to hit him or something, as he was threatening to hit me with his helmet. Then I realized, if I hit him then where would I be?? Wouldn’t it be wrong to hit a person who doesn’t understand what exactly I’m trying to say?? Then wouldn’t that make me an uneducated person??

With all this thoughts in my mind, I decided that it was a futile attempt to do anything to him. It wouldn’t educate him in any sort and at the same time I would just gain the pleasure of getting back at him physically. I felt like a saint for a while I never expected my self backing down in such a situation, I actually felt sorry for him and his level of education. He was busy passing racist comments and so on but I decided that it wasn’t something someone of my level of education would do so I just smiled at him and drove off.

I did feel like a winner for not falling for such provocation and my teasing smile before leaving completed my day. I felt like I’ve accomplished the impossible by taming the wild animal without lifting a finger. He must have feel like a hero for abusing an Indian boy but I felt like a hero for sympathizing for the poor Chinese man.

BTW the guy was in his late 20’s which is even more surprising.

I’m super sorry but for the last couple of days I’ve been super damn busy! Which explains my absence for a prolonged period of time on MSN :p
Well working is fun and intoxicating but at the same time it is tiring.However I enjoy it nevertheless.This past few days I had to speed up my work to meet a deadline,so I couldn’t sit back and enjoy myself.At the same time I had to attend a couple of presentations involving MOSTI and Malaysian Airlines.I can see how hard my dad and his people(I’m included in the his ppl :p) are working to secure a deal and even a grant.MOSTI is a governmental agency which provides grants to SME’s(Small and Medium Enterprises).Well anyways,so yea they work super hard! I hope god bless them with all the success in the world.Well it is true,dad success=me more money :p

Well about the DSLR,my dad has agreed to get me one (yay!) but it came with a million rules haha which I think is good.He said I had to do a couple of assignments related to photography before I’ll be bought the camera.First assignment,was to check the DSLR market and do hardware comparison between the brands available and of course the prices.This explains my appearance at the PIKOM fair which gave me the opportunity to check out all possible DSLR’s in the market.Now since I’ve done sufficient research about the hardware,now I am required to buy books regarding photography and read about it.Once I am done reading about it,then my dad would quiz me on how much of knowledge I have regarding photography.I am required to have some level of understanding of the topic.This are the the first few assignments I’ve been given.He said once I’m done with this then he would give me one more.The main fact remains that I would be getting a camera end of this month or maybe next month depending on how I would be gauged by my dad.I wonder? Do you guys go through the same regime each time you want to buy something with your parents money?? Please do tell me,because I’ve been experiencing this for a really long time.LOL..but it is good la…

Anways I gotta get back to my work because there’s another couple of proposals coming up.Keeping myself busy is good..At least I don’t feel useless :p (even if I may be LOL)

MIC Improvision!

As i've said in the earlier post about my idealogy of One Country,One Race,One aim,i have come once again to highlight the ineffectiveness of the MIC party in handling matters that are related to the Indian community.Once again I am not trying to anatagonize any one party or side as It is time we stop the finger-pointing game,in the process accusing everyone of some sort of negligence in their part.It has been too long a period.I have this idea which was instilled in me by my dad.Don’t give problems only,give solutions to problems too.In that way,you yourself would be able to understand the problem with greater perspective.Try working out a solution by yourself and in that way,you would realize that it is not simple to overcome it but not impossible.

Since the recent political outburst in the Malaysian political arena where everyone was trying to bring down each other.It was quite disheartening to see the country’s leaders tearing down each other,just for the sake of personal gain and political gain.I personally feel that Malaysia has been gifted with a large pool of talented individuals in the Malaysian political arena but lack the opportunities to move up.Well anyways I don’t want to get started on that.I shall stick to my topic.

I was asked this question my dad when I was stating my desire to be part of the MIC political party.I told him,“dad,I want to get into MIC,I feel I can do good to it”.And he looked at me,and he asked me,”Really? What would you do if you are the MIC president?”I was pretty stunned by the question but you know it had me thinking,what exactly can I do? Then I started producing a small outline of what are the current problems in the organization and what can I do to improve it.

My first task would be to,revamp the entire membership system MIC has currently.MIC lack the strength.Why do I say so? Well on paper,the membership of the MIC members may seem impressive but to tell you the truth,the real numbers are much smaller.One example would be about one of the MIC branches in one of the states(an inside source)which has 250 members on paper,but in real,they have only 15 members who are actually involved actively.This is only a meager 6% of their strength on paper.Now you understand why they are not representing the Indian community in terms of strength??

This is indeed a problem,so what I would have to do is revamp the entire membership system.I would suggest stripping everyone off their MIC memberships and start anew.However this cannot be done on a nationwide scale as it would be detrimental to the function of the whole party,therefore a state based approach should be taken.Moving from south with Johore to start with and moving North in the process.I am not talking about doing a general state registration! I am talking about going to at branch level.In this way,we can make sure that every branch represents the strength they are talking about.A simple quota system should be in place where branches are not established just for the sake of it where a minimum of 50-100 members would be required for the state MIC to recognize the branch.Imagine the MIC chairman present at every branch in the state.It definitely will trigger an overall response,sending a very strong signal across that a rebranding process is taking place.At the same time,this would lead to the birth of a centralised membership system where every member are placed in the database.I would rather have 15 branches in a state with a strong membership base of 300 members each instead of having 40 branches with 50 members each.Unnecessary branches would be shut down based on the area covered and the numbers of members present.

A rebranding exercise is definitely something which should be done in the latest future due to the recent loss of trust towards the party. In addition to that,an entire review of the postitions in the MIC organizational chart should be done.A basic academic requirement would be placed to ensure that the members in the senior posts in the party would be academically sound and able to asses every situation with reasonable ability instead of getting carried away with emotional aspects of the situation.What I am looking at are practical leaders,not race-oriented leaders.I know that the purpose of MIC is for the welfare of the Indian community but do not make it a political agenda,make it a compulsory agenda.I mean service to the Indian community.Why be in such a strong position when you are not able to speak for your community? Why do you think that the government is not giving much credit to the current MIC party? This is because of the lack of strength portrayed by the MIC party in terms of leading their community.This is something which should be tackled.

In addition to that,I would suggest that MIC is made a more receptive party in terms of their interaction with the community itself.I’m sorry to say that at some point of the way,MIC has made itself seem like an exclusive club.You want the publics support? Get down to where you started.I’m not interested in having a heavily publicized event organized by MIC.Instead I would rather make a small visit to maybe a small housing area,and talk to the ppl.Go from house to house,wear a pair of old jeans,a T-shirt,and talk to people.Be approachable and it would do wonders.You would be able to understand so many more matters.This is what I suggest to all those branch leaders.You don’t have to bring your whole party.Make it your personal visit where no one follows you,like a surprise one.You would make a world of a difference.Your presence there alone,would be sufficient to hear out their problems.

You see all this is in the mindset of the old leaders.It is time to change,being pro-Indian wouldn’t be sufficient.You have to be practical and at the same time effective.The person who shouts the loudest doesn’t mean the person is right.One more thing is,what if a Chinese individual approach you for help? Do you help? Or Do you turn away referring them to MCA instead?This is absolutely wrong in the terms that are you in service to the people or to the Indians exclusively? Many old leaders would argue that it is an Indian exclusive service,but is it that practical in the current situation?

Times have changed and now we are looking at a concept which is just a prototype.”One Country,One Race,One Aim”.This is what our future has to be,in order for us to move out of the racial sentiments and work for what we deserve.We have to use USA as our benchmark in the process of making it possible.

This is all too much into the future,but as I’ve said MIC requires a heavy rebranding campaign.Without this it is said to say that,the Indians might just lose one of their only channels.My qualms are not about being a minority,my qualms are not about being looked down at,my qualms are not about being attacked using racist sentiments,my only goal is for a level playing field.Where I go into the field as the person I am and not because I’m an Indian.Don’t give us benefits,we don’t want extra money,we don’t want anything pretty much but what we want is to be there with all the other major races and the minor races competing our way to make Malaysia a better place to live in.I understand that it is pretty much impossible to do so,but if anyone of you remember once upon a time Datuk Onn Bin Jaafar who promoted this same idealogy but did not have the backing required due to the extreme-race-oriented leaders of the time.

Based on the constitution,independence was given to us for the fact that we stood united irrespective of our race and now,where are we after 50 years? We are back to where we started.

You know i had this interesting discussion with my dad regarding MIC.Well believe it or not,there's only one political party that is going to represent the Indian community.I stress upon the word POLITICAL party.We may have heard of HINDRAF recently and i believe they have sowed a great deal of awareness into the Indian community,however the fact remains that they are still a social party for the welfare of the Indian Community am i right? And converting HINDRAF into a political party is not something which should be done,because then the judgement of the party would be greatly reduced as they have to take into consideration their other political counterparts.In this way,they cannot work as efficiently as they work when they are on thier own.

HINDRAF is a social awareness group which was established as a result of the dissatisfaction of the Indian Community towards the government.Well obviously,since its a democratic country they should be allowed to be present as there certainly got to be a reason behind the indians uniting for a certain purpose.Hear them out instead of antagonizing them.I believe that every community in Malaysia,whether it is the Malay community,the Chinese community,the Indian Community or even the Orang Asli community definitelty have dissatisfactions towards the government and so on.The only differences is they most of the communities have appropriate channels to approach to discuss the matters.For example,the chinese community has MCA,as the Malay community have UMNO.These are strong political parties in the goverment who can actually speak for the community.

However when it comes to MIC,i feel that it is sad to say that they are not representing the community when it comes to the decisions they make.Everyone would agreed with it,as the indian community knows that something is lacking.I am not accusing MIC of totally ignoring the needs of the Indian community,they have contributed in some way or the other but what i'm trying to say is things could be better if tackled more efficiently by MIC.As a result of MIC being a weak representative in the government,the indian community has decided to come up with their own channel,hoping that thier dissatisfaction can be heard.(HINDRAF).HINDRAF has definitely come up with good awareness campaigns nationwide without harbouring hatred towards other races.In order to eradicate the presence of HINDRAF,they have been accused of being a racist establishment and tried to be downtalked in all departments.However ppl should understand that at some point,ppl will retaliate to these false accusations,and it may result in the recurrence of the May 13th bloodshed.Which is totally avoidable!

Based on the strong resentment by the government towards HINDRAF,it takes individuals to recognise that another possible option would be MIC.What i am suggesting is MIC and HINDRAF has to take up the same side at some point.i DONT understand the reason for the strong hatred of MIC towards HINDRAF when they are actually established for the same reasons.MIC and HINDRAF should merge in terms of the idealogies and strength which would result in the a stronger voice of opinions.But the should never merge in terms of parties,as then MIC might just overpower them,in the process silencing them.This would shut off the available channel to voice dissatisfaction.

The HINDRAF was heavily criticised for making the death of A.Kugan a major agenda and it was termed as a racist attack towards the government and the police.But little did people understand that this could happen to anyone.Now look at the recent malay boy who was said to have accidentally swallowed turpentin in the custody of the polics.Now you see,how important it is to publicize such acts??

I'm a Malaysian and i want all of us to be one,only if all communities come together to promote one-ness,then we would be a powerhouse in the world.
People are giving up on the country,they rather migrate away.
They are running away from the problem.
Give the goverment solutions for problems instead of problems only.
(irrespective of whether they listen to you,but make sure you have channels and the indians lack one)

arghh! Super boring day today! :(
My internet's screwed once again,so i have no choice but to revert back to my super-gila-old PS2.haha..I thought i divorced it several months ago,but now i have no choice but to try pujuk-ing it back.I discovered that now it has some problem reading the discs.According to some forum-ers the 'Big' Playstation will experience disc reading problems once it gets older because the laser becomes loose.Thier suggestion was to turn the PS2 console upside down and press the reset button! haha..I was like WTF but i still gave it a try.And you know what! It worked! :p

So after the primitive technology of Hemaraj on the advanced technology of Sony,i got it up and working.I played a couple of Winning Eleven matches on it,then i got bored.Then i got hooked onto my NFS Underground 2 (i know its old but what the hell,i love it) but yea still not enough to keep me hooked onto it for ours.Finally i realised that i was not gonna be kept busy by the PS so i took the car out and went for a drive.

Went to the beach for a while.Sat there lookin at the waves for sometime..It felt nice somesort,like there was nothin in the world i could care about except for the hot girls in their two-pieces nearby :p Well anyways,i took a stroll by the beach kicking sand around.Then i realised,how fun would it be to have a DSLR with me (dad,i'm hintin goddamnit :p),zooming at all those hot girls around haha (you really thought i was gonna take pictures of the scenery's or somethin!? :p) So yea,after a nice stroll i got back home and started to wonder what the hell i did today! So i decided to sit down and write my blog post out for the day..So here i am! :)

PIKOM 2009! Awesome!

Today since it was my day off, I decided to visit the PIKOM PC Fair in the KL Convention Center. I decided to save some money on the bus fare by hitching a ride with my dad since he was going to KL anyways.On our way to KL; I suddenly realized that I still haven’t collected my IELTS exam results. So I told my dad about it and he agreed to make a small detour to Petaling Jaya.He waited in the car while I ran into the IDP building. The staff there were pretty efficient (or maybe it’s because of the fact that there were no students there: p) Well I did okay for the exams. I got a Band 8.

So yea I collected the results slip, thanked the lady ,and sprinted back to the car and we took of for KL.My dad had a sudden change of plan (we’re all filled with that,LOL,which explains my sudden memory earlier :p),so he decided to drop me off in KL Sentral instead. So I got down there and took a look around KL Sentral since it was only 10.a.m.After about 30 minutes of window shopping (I know I sound gay! :p),I took a LRT to KLCC.By the time I reached KLCC it was exactly 11.a.m (not that I’m implying that the LRT is slow or anything lol)

So at about 11.15 a.m I found my way into the Kl Convention Center. I was greeted by the great camera makers Canon. So yea I didn’t waste much time, and I approached the sales ppl there and tried to get as much information as possible. I was interested in an Entry Level DSLR,more like a beginner one so they suggested the Canon EOS 1000D which costs about MYR2199 (neg) with a single wide angle lense.I took a look at the camera,took a couple of shots with it and I was pretty happy with the camera but I was not really happy with the sales personnel because they seem to lack some overall knowledge of DSLR’s which made me have a tough time because I know close to nothing about DSLR’s except for the fact that SLR means Single Lens Reflex :p) My dad was explaining to me in the car on how do we judge the quality of a SLR which he used to own those days. He used to own the film SLR which by my standards is super hard to use LOL.He explained to me what do they mean by shutter speed, the aperture, the difference between wide angle lenses, telephoto lenses and so on. He got carried away explaining how he used to take pictures on positive films and how pretty they would look on a slide projector and the usage of filters :p but it was informative nevertheless.

So I collected a brochure from them and decided to go to the NIKON booth. I was greeted by a lady who looked like she was in her early 20’s.But I loved her because she had SLR experience! And I could see it in her eyes the excitement she had explaining to me the difference between SLR’s.She had passion for sure! Well she herself owns two SLR’s,one a EOS 450D and a Nikon D90.I had a good time asking her all those technical aspects of the SLR and what made it so fun to use. I spent a good 30 minutes chatting with her, and I’m pretty much glad I had a talk with her. She gave me a total new perspective of the world of cameras to me.BTW (smart women are such turn-ons to me:p)
She was suggesting the Nikon D60 kit which I kinda like because it had quality written all over it. I took some time playing with, got a quotation from her and it would cost me MYR2150 with a single wide angle lense.I thanked her for her time, and she seemed pretty happy by the fact that she managed to enlighten me haha..So yea after that I went hunting for the Sony booth, because I was still looking for A200 which I have been eye-ing.I finally found the Sony booth but what happen was they happen to display all their cameras upstairs. So I had to take the lift up and went to the Sony booth. I took a look at the A200 and the A300.There are pretty much the same except for the fact that A300 has a live viewfinder LCD.The most attractive thing about the Sony Alpha camera’s was that they were offering a twin lens kit for all their camera’s. For example the Sony Alpha A200 was going for MYR2099 but with two lenses! A wide angle lens and a telephoto lens! That was just awesome. I was pretty happy with the quality the images produced by the Sony Alpha A200. Played around with it for another 15 minutes or so, talking with the sales guy. The guy seemed pretty knowledgeable but I was swept off my feet by the NIKON lady remember LOL..Since I got as much information as I could, I decided to get back to my dad’s office. I had my lunch in Burger King since my dad had some meeting and he couldn’t pick me up. I love their burgerrss! : p I took a nice slow stroll to Menara Hap Seng where my dad was working and met him there.It was about 2 p.m at that time.

After that we both left for PD! We spent the whole journey back discussing about the camera’s I had a look at and we were weighing the pros and cons of all of it. He felt that the Sony Alpha A200 would be a good buy for me since I was still a beginner and I would have the opportunity to experience picture snapping with two different lens.(and because it’s the cheapest :p) However he didn’t reveal whether he would get the camera for me, which leaves my future in imbalance still.haha..I told him that I would forgo my salary if he got me the camera, he rather kept me in the dark about it by not answering hahaha..(Drama lebih).Well I would be knowing soon whether I would be getting the camera or not but I doubt he would be getting it from the PC fair.He said that he would rather buy it from his friend who owns a camera shop. I noticed that the price difference isn’t that big as when I enquired about the price in SONY STYLE in KLCC that was the same price MYR2099 for the A200.Maybe they would give me more freebies in the PC fair.Anyways I’ll keep you guys updated about the camera thingy..Hahaha

As I’ve said before worst come to worst, a point and shoot camera would be fine.haha :)

I told you guys that i would be updating my blog on what exactly i would be working as.Well you see my dad happened to read my blog and he kinda liked my writing so he offered me a part-time job at his office.I was pretty much reluctant at first,worried that my freedom might be affected (WTF) :p,then after thinking it over i accepted it.But the beauty about me accepting it was,i didn't know what exactly i was getting into,i just blindly rushed into the job offer.(see what money can do to you) LOL..

Well anyways so on Tuesday i left for work with dad in the morning,i was still sleepy and i was awaken from my lovely sleep by my mother who reminded me that i had to follow dad.You see my dad has been working in Kl(Kuala Lumpur) ever since we moved to PD (Port Dickson) so he happens to travel everyday! These days his travelling has been reduced ever since he started working on his own.So i had no choice but to wake up and get ready to leave for Kl.

So on my way to Kl with dad,he started briefing me about what exactly i would be required to do for him.As a summary of all those jumbled up words he fed me,this was what i could make of it.

He wants me to write a proposal for him to be submitted to MOSTI for approval of a grant and at the same time should be able to be used for the financial institutions he's interested in selling his product too.Well its an Operational Risk Management System which he happens to own and based on the current situation in the Banking fraternity,Bank Negara has came up with their own Basel II Accord which is a revised version based on the Malaysian Banking situation and economy.I'm not gonna bore you to death with all the technical mumbo-jumbo so yea bottom line i had to write a couple of proposals and this happened to be my first job assignment.

I was given all sorts of technical write-ups and information regarding the task and i was forced to understand the whole system that we are trying to market in less than 2 hours.After that,i was asked to write the introduction for the proposal by my dad.I think it was more like a test where he wanted to see whether i could really write or not :p.Well anyways i passed the test and he was quite happy with it.So after that he assigned me to his worker,and explained that i would be working under her as it was her duty to compile the whole proposal before allowing my dad to have a look at it.Luckily for me i wasn't the only person involved in the writing of the proposal because then it would be pretty difficult for me due to my lack of advanced knowledge on the software.The technical aspect will be covered by another co-worker.I cover the business plan which consists of the analysis of the business plan we would be working parallel with.....(more mumbo jumbo for you guys..:p)

Anyways i was given a deadline to complete 15 pages of the proposal which was today.(did i mention how much i love deadlines :p)I managed to complete it all yesterday and submitted it to the worker i was assigned to.Dad hasn't read it yet haha..so I'm safe for the moment :p
But i think i did pretty well in writing my section of the proposal out,then again who am i to judge haha..Despite the pressure i was placed upon,I think i managed to get through it pretty easily lol..Imagine your dad breathing down your neck,making sure he knows what the hell you are doing :p It isn't a bed of roses but I'm glad that I'm not given special treatment or anything when I'm in his office.It makes me stronger to face whatever the future has in store for me.But so far,I'm loving it!

I'm given the day off tomorrow because i finished it before the deadline! :)
so I'm taking the opportunity to go to the PC fair tomorrow! haha
I'm thinking of getting a camera and a laptop but i think dad would be allocating money for my camera only :p

i was thinking of the Sony Alpha,this particular model actually.I got a good deal with a set of telephoto lens and a wide angle lens for about MYR2100.But I'm hoping to get a better deal in the PC fair,and also the fact that its pretty expensive haha..I gotta look for some funds and i hope things work out.If not worst come to worst,I'll get a typical point and shoot camera which would cost me half the price :) but listen to me,aim big! lol..whether you get it or not secondary..lol..

New Cabinet in Malaysia!

Today the latest prime minister would be releasing the latest cabinet which would serve with him until the next election. Well based on the recent by-elections in Bukit Gantang,Bukit Selambau and Batang Ai,we can still see that the government has much to do to convince the rakyat.Therefore the selection of candidates for the latest cabinet would be crucial in deciding the latest future for the government,

In the recent UMNO General Election, several notable figures in UMNO such as Syed Hamid Albar and Azalina has lost.Several anonymous sources are claiming that a few senior ministers would be removed and replaced with relatively new candidates. This is to promote a newer cabinet line up and at the same time it would portray the Prime Ministers drive for a change in the country. However one confirmed post for the new Ketua Pemuda UMNO,Khairy Jamaluddin who managed to move up the ranks in such a short period of time.

Well when taken a look from the perspective of Indian representatives in the cabinet,MIC chairman,Samy Vellu has come up with a few names that has been passed on to the new Prime Minister to be considered. The list still remains a secret and we shall know based on the new lineup which would be introduced today. However a hunch says that, Devamany would be given a seat in the cabinet but that again remains unclear.

However there’s a surprising rumour which recently surfaced concerning the MCA candidates in the cabinet. It is said that a couple of MCA members in the cabinet will be removed and replaced with members not known yet. I am still not sure whether they would be replaced by MCA candidates or any other political party.

Anyways why think so much when the line up would be introduced today. It is indeed exciting to see how the new lineup would seem as the rakyat would definitely have something so say regarding the new lineup the 6th Prime Minister has come up with.

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Once again Liverpool and Chelsea would be meeting in the Champions League,this would represent the 9th time in 5 seasons! Thats a lot more than pure luck by my standards.hahaha..Anyways based on the past record,Chelsea have lost twice in the knock-out stages to Liverpool both coming in the 2004/2005 season and the 2006/2007 season.Chelsea overcame Liverpool in the 2007/2008 season and in the 2005/2005 season they had two goalless draws in the group stage.On paper both the teams are equals in all departments.

With only three points separating second placed Liverpool and third placed Chelsea in the Premier League, it may appear at first glance that there is little to separate the two sides in this match.

However, Liverpool's form has been exceptional since their win over Real Madrid at Anfield a month ago, having won their four matches in the Premier League since, including a 4-1 thrashing of league leaders Man Utd and a 5-0 demolition of fifth-placed Aston Villa.

The Reds' last-gasp 1-0 victory over Fulham on the weekend did not truly reflect the dominance that Liverpool displayed during the match, and the late winner has undoubtedly kept Liverpool's title hopes alive.

Chelsea have also been on a great run since late February, having won five of their last six league matches. Guus Hiddink has undoubtedly injected confidence back into the Chelsea squad, and his influence is clearly showing in both Chelsea's domestic and continental form.

In spite of this, there is definitely a clear divide between the two sides heading into Tuesday's match. Liverpool are the more confident of the two and, combining this with the fact that the Reds have not lost at Anfield all season in any competition, Liverpool will head into the first leg of this massive all-English quarter final as favourites for victory.

Bayern Munich are in a state of flux.Getting hammered 5-1 at Wolfsburg on Saturday tells its own tale.But then again, so does the record-breaking 12-1 aggregate defeat of Sporting Lisbon in the last round.Jurgen Klinsmann’s team is far from stable, capable of collapsing almost as easily as they seem able to turn on the brilliance.The type of match seen at the Nou Camp will be determined by the Bayern which show up. However, the result barely looks in doubt.Barcelona are flying this season and look set to break records. Unlike most of their English foes, they come into the business end of the season with the league as good as sown up and in the final of the Copa del Rey. Their domestic silverware is just readying itself to be picked up.Therefore Barcelona would be approaching the match as the favourites and it would be interesting to see how Bayern would tackle the situation.The Champions League is the Catalans’ focus and it is questionable whether any team left in the competition can knock them out.Messi. Henry. Eto’o. Iniesta. Xavi. Dani Alves. The names just roll off the tongue and, for the most part this season, so has the football oozed on the field. Bayern will have their hands full.

A VULTURE EMERGES UNDER THE NAME OF MAHATHIR

This is not my work,but I found it extremely disturbing so i decided to put it up here.
I'm not making judgements but we have to keep an open mind to analyze the current matters.
Just read,don't judge :)

As a student I knew of the horrors of the Holocaust and other human tragedies, but merely as a distant thunder: The violation of human rights and crimes against humanity were only an abstract notion.

That was all fated to change with my arrest under the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA) of Malaysia, which allows for indefinite detention without trial. My crime? I had known Anwar Ibrahim, the deputy prime minister and finance minister of Malaysia, as a close personal friend for many years. We shared and strove for a vision of life firmly rooted in human dignity. We struggled for building an intellectual and political milieu for free expression. Together, we subscribed to the idea of economic prosperity, gender and racial equality and a civil society.

Alas, the Malaysian dictator, Mahathir, under the growing burden of corruption and cronyism, conspired to halt the march of freedom. In order to build his fraudulent case against Anwar, Mahathir himself ordered my arrest.

My kidnapping and detention by the infamous Malaysian Special Branch taught me how it feels to be forcibly separated from one’s wife and children. How it feels to be searched and seized, disallowed to make phone calls, handcuffed, blindfolded, stripped naked, driven in an animal cage, shaven bald, endlessly interrogated, humiliated, drugged, deprived of sleep, physically abused. What it’s like to be threatened, blackmailed, tormented by police lawyers, brutalized to make a totally false confession, hospitalized for a consequent heart ailment, and treated as a psychiatric patient with symptoms of Stockholm syndrome.

Barely surviving on a meager diet of rancid rice and chicken along with 12 medicines a day, I spent nearly four months handcuffed around the clock to my hospital bed, under the watchful eyes of the prison guards.

Thereafter, my ability to speak, read and write took a considerable time to show signs of recovery. Short-term memory lapses were frequent. I existed in a fluid state in which suicidal tendencies, depression and despair were punctuated by fits of rage and indignation.

Weekly visits of less than an hour by my wife, Nadia, with our young children — Aisha and Omran — were my only contact with the outside world and the only inspiration to live on.

In collusion with the lawyer appointed on my behalf by the police, the Malaysian authorities refused the legal assistance of my choice, coercing me not to mount an appeal against the court verdict and threatening me with greater punishment under new charges if I didn’t co-operate.

Simultaneously, Nadia constantly endured police harassment, wiretapping and disruption of our e-mail and bank accounts. Some of our friends were met with the same fate and were compelled to abandon us when we needed them most.

But, in attempting to scare off and alienate my friends, how terribly mistaken were Malaysian autocrats in aping gross Gestapo tactics. How they underestimated the temper of freedom in so many places around the world, above all among friends in the West.

Floodgates of human compassion were opened when the futurist author Alvin Toffler, who Mahathir asked to advise him on a pet high-technology project, sent a message of protest to the Malaysian leader within 72 hours of my capture. In a major interview with the Western press, Mahathir even felt it necessary to make assurances — unfulfilled, of course — about my well being.

With every passing day, the rising tide of concern for my plight seemed to personify the words of Elie Wiesel: “Take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor. Never the victim. Never the tormented.”

Friends and strangers alike took a stand and support began to mushroom everywhere. Nadia related to me in the hospital how Amnesty International had declared me a “prisoner of conscience,” and how Pen International adopted me as a “writer in prison.” Against all odds, two prominent Malaysian lawyers, Manjeet Singh Dhillon and Balwant Singh Siddhu, offered their services unconditionally. To top it all, an international coalition — Friends of Dr. Anees — came into existence in defence of my rights. The core group of Naseer Ahmad, Baseer Hai, Safir Rammah, Jamal Mubarak, Anees Ahmad and Naeem Siddiqui mounted a media campaign with phenomenal success.

What touched my heart was that the person, Kamal Mubarak, who set up the Web site had never met me in person. From the depths of my confinement, I could see the magic of human compassion had begun to defeat oppression.

The pinnacle was reached after my release in the warm hug laced with watery eyes of an Amnesty friend in Toronto, Margaret John, who witnessed a pledge of solidarity between me and Devan Nair, the former president of Singapore, for we had come to share a similar fate.

My victimization at the hands of Mahathir’s “Asian values” has transformed me in another way. All my adult life, like so many in the Muslim world, I have suspected under every nook and cranny some conspiracy by the West to keep us down. Yet, in this seminal experience of my life, my friends in the West succeeded in saving me, while Mahathir, a Muslim, did everything to destroy me. And he is trying to do the same to Anwar again through his obliging courts on totally fabricated charges.

Villareal vs Arsenal

Well based on current statistics,Arsenal has a horrible record in Spain.They have lost 6 of the last 9 matches in Spain and even their last visit to the Spanish grounds of Villareal they left the pitch with a goalless draw completing an aggregate 1-0 win over the Spanish side in 2006.
Therefore Arsenal ain't favourites to triumph in the match.However based on current form,Arsenal seems to be on trail with hot blazing form as they approach the match with a couple of wins in the EPL and judging from their last game against Manchester City where they won 2-0 they seem pretty much in control of their game.Don't be surprised if they can take on Villareal because after all they're pretty unpredictable these days.

yay! i finally got a job :)
my dad gave me one! hahaha...
and i'm starting tomorrow!.It isn't a permanent job but what the heck.At least i get to be useful for some short period of time.I swear if i was going to sit in my house for a while more longer i would start to lay eggs :p (biologically impossible but i live in Disneyland)

I don't know what he has in mind for me,but i heard him telling me that it involves writing.I'll tell you guys what job exactly it is once i'm done with the day.I do hope its a pay-per-project sorta job,cos i love deadlines =) It makes you feel like you're in a race and you have no choice but to finish it! The stress it causes is intoxicating! you know stress could be a new drug if there's some way to induce it on purpose :p Dontcha feel like stress in some way gives you the license to complain about it? It makes you feel like everything is impossible and everything is falling down,the walls are getting closer and somehow you push through that barrier to get the job done! It makes us feel like we've achieved something,even if it may be insignificant but still an achievement nevertheless!

Oh btw,WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED IN THE MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX!?
They stopped the race because the roads were flooded?? sad sad sad..
i heard the visibility was very poor and drivers were practically driving blindly at some point,judging the track just based on memory.How was it like to the spectators? i need a job!
it's been 4 months and i'm still at home! I'm currently frantically looking for some job which wouldn't take up much of my time and at the same time pay well..(yea right! do little and ask for a lot :p) Well i've been pretty much working for my mum at the moment,driving her everywhere,running small errands such as runs to the market and banks.Sadly my mum regards this as a service which is required by a son and that i'm in no position to demand for money.So i 'm pretty much 'free' labour for her.But i can't ask much from them anyways,they're gonna pay for my education.hahaha...

If possible all you guys could donate money to me so that i could live like a king huh? haha..
nah dont worry,this is out of desperation.I do crazy stuff when i'm desperate..You might see me running naked on Jalan Ampang or somethin some day. :p You know i did tell my mum that if i'm not gonna be paid by her,i would rather be a Male escort (if you know what i mean lol) at least i would get paid well. :p But she told me,that no woman would want me,because i was too ugly! ish! :(

Dont worry,haha..i will not go to great extends to get money.Anyways i'll keep you guys updated on my job applications.I've applied to a couple of them and we shall see how it goes.If possible i wanna sit at home and generate bucks haha..OMG i'm startin to sound like Donald Trump now..lol.

Fight Night Round 3

Since i'm done with my exams,i've been indulging my self in quite a lot of hours in psp-gaming and i happen to come across a couple of games.
This one particular game caught my eye and hands too that is..haha..It's like a drug,i was so addicted to it that i actually came up with a crazy proposal to my parents,saying that i wanna box professionally. :p But yea it stayed a proposal anyways.LOL...I come up with a lot of crazy ideas anyways.

So yea,Fight Night Round 3!

This is the first screenshot of the game,i took it personally so dont expect too much.haha..I can't do much with a mediocre camera.:p
Well btw the game has awesome graphic! I'm a very graphic-oriented gamer.The gameplay can be sucky and i would still play but if the graphics suck i wouldn't have the motivation to play.I would just throw the game away,therefore i do sufficient research before purchasing a game.

Well I've played Fight Night Round 2 and 3 in PS2,so yea i have some experience with the series.The PS2 versions were amazing if you ask me! Go get the PS2 versions too,you would never regret it if you love re-enacting moments from the Rocky movie.hahaha.It's just pure power,speed,and agility when fighting in the game.

Well as usual the best part of this game would be the career mode.
You have the option of rebuilding the career of any legend you want.They have quite a number of legends and current fighters in boxing sport including notable legends,Muhamad Ali,Joe Frazier,Evander Holyfield,and Roy Jones Jr.However it is to no surprise that they haven't included Mike Tyson,eventhough i personally feel that he's a fantastic boxer.You have the normal weight classes to choose from,The Featherweight,Lightweight,Welterweight,Middleweight,
Light heavy and Heavyweight.You can even create your own
boxer based on your own taste and fight your way up the ranks.

If you ask me,the gameplay is pretty well designed where a large variety of punches are available including the trademark Haymakers by EA Sports.You would have fun button mashing and learning how to dodge punches and landing killer punches.It's quite entertaining and it includes a lot of thinking too.( who said boxers are dumb :p)

Another interesting feature that has been included in the PSP version of FN3 would be the Rival Challenges where you are given an opportunity to change history of major fights.Such as the match almost everyone knows of,Cassius Clay(Muhamad Ali) and Joe Frazier where Joe Frazier won the fight delivering Ali's first ever loss in his professional career.You could take on Frazier as Ali or vice-versa.It's quite fun actually,because you wouldn't be fighting the match from the start.You would be at an advantage or a disadvantage based on who won the actual fight.

Boondi Ladoo

I tell you indian sweets are awesome! but you gotta remember that most of them are super sweet!hmm..which makes me wonder why exactly indians have high rate of diabetes cases? :p
Anyways there's this one more recipe which i would love share with you guys.I didn't really know how make them at first,because my mum didn't know how to make them.I had a slight idea on how i could make is so i decided to ask my friend who happen to be good at making boondi ladoos.So yea she gave me a couple of pointers on how to make it,and here I am.
Btw the ladoos were awesome! haha..It's a sad thing i didn't take pictures of them =(

Anyways Boondi Ladoo(It's the ladoo most of the Malaysians would know off,many varieties of ladoos are around) would take about 20-40 minutes all depending on how efficient you are in the kitchen.So i shall share exactly how it is done,

Ingredients

Boondi

2 cups of dhall flour
a pinch of salt
oil for frying
1/2 cup of water + 1 table spoon of water (varies but until the concentration is sufficient)

Syrup

one and a half cup of sugar
half cup of water

Overall the steps are pretty basic,therefore i would suggest you watch the video i embed,because almost the whole process is the same.By the way the english is heavily accented,(indian ppl :p) but i think its pretty easy to understand.

So have fun making those lovely ladoos! =)
btw i've heard that the using ghee instead of the oil to make the boondi's make a world of a difference to the taste,but i haven't tried it yet.I'll update you guys if i ever use ghee.
Later once you're good at making basic ladoo's,you can experiment by adding raisins,almonds,and even cashew nuts.

Going to Ipoh! Yay!

I'll be going to Ipoh tomorrow! Yay!.
I lived in Ipoh for 8 years(1991-1998).Left for Port Dickson in November 1998 and been living in Port Dickson ever since then(1999-current year)Which means this year would mark my 11Th year in Port Dickson.Anyways I'll be going to Ipoh because the tenants in my house just moved out,so we going to inspect the conditions of the house and do some repairs so that the place would be in tip top condition to be rented out again.However i have to say of all the past tenants,i would say the local tenants are the best.

The tenants who've lived in the house in the short span of 10 years(not including this year) would be an Indian couple,A Chinese man,a Filipino family and a group of engineers from China.The engineers from China are the most recent tenants,they're going back since they've just finished their contract with with Carsem,a provider of turnkey packaging and test services to the semiconductor industry.I would say among the tenants,the worst was the Filipino family and the engineers from China.

Well the Filipino family was really nice but when they left,they stole an air-con unit and the gas stove.In addition to that they never took care of the garden.There was one time when we decided to drop by to take a look at the condition of the house on our way back from Penang.We were shocked! The house was in a pathetic condition.To be honest,the house looked like an abandoned house but with ppl staying inside.My dad got furious and asked the family to leave the house.Our house was a fully-furnished house out therefore there were a lot furniture.Every single furniture was damaged!

Till this day we don't really know how they used the furniture,because all the bedroom sets were so badly damaged! and for the engineers from China they were a notch higher,except for the fact that they did not steal anything.They never sweep the floors,they walk in and out of the house with thier shoes and they keep their shoes in the bedroom(which results in muddy floors,yuck!)The garden was like a jungle,whenever they leave the house they don't close the gate,so much so drug addicts came into the house and stole the garden and wall lights! btw the garden light is 7ft high!(WTF).In addition to that the parquet flooring was totally destroyed.It was hard to believe that they lived like that,because they were supposed to educated individuals.We guess we found out the hard way that foreign nationals aren't necessarily the best tenants even if they pay good money.

Anyways it's gonna be a fun trip to Ipoh! I hope i would have time to meet up with my old friends.I would be updating on the house conditions from Ipoh.I might attach some pictures of the destruction caused by the tenants haha..if my dad hasn't got it fixed yet that is..lol..

India Here I Come!

Hmm...I've noticed that all the while i have been updating my blog on very general stuff.So i guess i should write something about myself today,haha..

Well I'm 19 this year!(damn I'm old! :p)i just turned 19 something like 4 weeks ago.
SO for now I'm just done with my A levels and I'm officially a full time "penganggur" as i tell my friends lol...Well i recently got my offer letter to do medicine in India and most probably would be accepting the offer.Therefore i would be entering uni only in September( I know it's a freaking long time!)

Well at first i wanted to do my medical degree in Malaysia,choosing IMU and Melaka-Manipal Medical College as my priorities.But then after analysing the situation,i realised that I'm gonna pay a bomb for something which isn't really worth it in terms of exposure.I'm sure the theory classes in IMU are fantastic and they may even be able to provide good clinical years.But the exposure i am going to get with patients and so on would not be sufficient.In addition to that,a common complain shared by most medical students would be insufficient cadavers.So yea anyways,IMU gives good education at an exorbitant price that is,the full 5 years course in IMU would cost you 351k for tuition fees only.

Then there's Melaka-Manipal Medical College.Melaka-Manipal would be a really good option if the whole course is conducted in India,but then that would defeat the entire purpose would it...hahaha..The cost of the whole course is 303k for tuition fees which is quite affordable based on the fact that you would actually spend 2.5 years in India.However it is disappointing that you still come back to Malaysia to do your clinical because India definitely provides better clinical years compared to Malaysia.

However i had always dreamt of going over to India to do my medical degree.I have no idea why.Normally students would dream of going to England or The United States of America but I've always been fascinated with India and their doctors.Several doctors in India who happen to be friends to my father has made me look at India with a total different perspective.They have world-class doctors if you ask me.However it is important for us to understand that,we may have the best education in the world but it doesn necessarily makes us the best doctors in the world.We gotta have the drive and motivation to push through the years in medical school.

I really hope i can find my way through all the obstacles and challenges which awaits me in the future in India.I've heard of countless stories of students going over to India and never completing their studies.My parents would be spending a great deal of money on me and they would have high hopes.I really hope i would not let them down but then again i have several more months to sit and think about it :p

I know many individuals would have a stereotype on Indians saying that every Indian in Malaysia wants to do medicine,but if you ask me i genuinely want to do medicine.As a matter of fact my parents would rather see me in another field all together.It is nice to have parents who would allow you to pursue whatever you dream off.Well anyways i know several of my friends would be going to pursue their studies soon,(some already even left,Ling Fan for example,he's off to Japan) so yea keep in touch guys.i don't want to being bumping into you guys 10 years later or something.Its too long a period to stay away..haha..

IELTS (PART D:WRITING)

Part D: Writing

This is the last section in the exam which is left for me to write about. This section consists of two sections; Task 1 and Task 2.

Task 1 (Summary) (150 WORDS)
(YOU ARE ADVISED TO SPEND 20 MINUTES)

Usually this task is the simpler one between both the tasks, but it carries less weightage.In Task 1, you would be provided with a descriptive report based on graphic or pictorial input. It can be a table, a pie chart, a flow chart, or even a bar chart. It may sound easy but usually the tables would contain multiple information and you would have to decide on which information you are going to use to compare and contrast.

You would have to:
a) Interpret the data accurately
b) Point out overall trends rather than details
c) Include only relevant information
d) Use appropriate vocabulary

You would also have to show ability in grouping information, linking points in complex sentences, using appropriate vocabulary and structures for describing trends etc.

Make sure you read the question carefully and try to understand what the question wants. This task is actually an Information Transfer exercise, so you have to make sure all important details in the descriptive report are written in the summary.

You have to write at least 150 words. If you write more than 150 words you would not be penalized but you have to remember that you have another task to complete which is task 2 and it holds more weightage.

Task 2 (Essay) (250 WORDS)
(YOU ARE ADVISED TO SPEND 40 MINUTES ON THE TASK)
Well the essay part is pretty much like any essay writing you have done in secondary school. However you have to be pretty careful with the language and the topics can be pretty tough at times, very matured topics which require you to have some good general knowledge.

A suggested way of tackling the question is as such
Introduction : Restatement of topic
Indication of writer’s position

Body of the composition
Paragraph 1 : main ideas
Supporting ideas

Paragraph 2 : Main Ideas
Supporting ideas

Conclusion : Summary of views and restatement of position

However one difference is you are encouraged to include personal experiences as supporting ideas too.

Tips
-Read question very carefully
-Underline key points in question and make sure you answer is relevant
-Consider your personal view on the topic
-Take a minute to plan
-Think about how you will introduce the topic but DO NOT copy the question
-Clearly state your conclusion
-Read through your answer when you have finished and do necessary correction.
-Check that you have linked your points together well
-Make sure you have written enough words. You will not be penalized but you will not gain extra marks either

IELTS (PART C:READING)

PART C: Reading (1 HOUR)

Well I regard this part as the toughest part among all the sections simply because the language used in the passages are really of high standard. I mean really high standard.
You have to read somewhere between 2000-2750 words, but don’t worry it’s not all in one passage. They have between 3-4 passages, all depending on the length on the passage.
Mostly the types of passages which come out would be academic texts such as articles from journals, newspapers, text books, and magazines.

They have a large variety of type of questions they could ask, a few examples would be,

-paragraph headings (you choose the most appropriate title for a paragraph, difficult difficult)
-short answers
-multiple choice
-sentence completion
-notes/summary/diagram/flow chart/table completion
-matching lists/phrases
-classification (grouping of data)
-identification of writer’s views/claims (difficult difficult)
-Yes, No, Not given (Freaking hard) (you have to understand the passage very well)
-True, False, Not given (Freaking hard) (you have to understand the passage very well)

For this section, I suggest that doing a lot of exercise would help you because you have to get used to skimming through passages as fast as possible and understanding main ideas. At the same time you got to learn how to read for details. It takes a lot of skill to do this Part but it is not impossible.

IELTS (PART B:LISTENING)

Part B:Listening (30 MINUTES + TRANSFER TIME)

The listening test consists of 4 sections and there are 10 questions in each section.Well this part is reasonably easy if you have basic command of the language.You should have a general idea of how the exam would take place.You are given the exam booklet first and given a few minutes to take a look at the questions.Then after that a recording would be played and you should answer the questions based on the recording.THE RECORDING IS ONLY PLAYED ONCE BUT YOU HAVE TIME IN BETWEEN SECTIONS TO CHECK YOUR ANSWERS.

Tips
-Note how many different types of questions are there in each section.
-Look at the instructions for each set of questions
-Read the questions;try to predict the context of the conversation when given the booklet
-Look at the questions again to see exactly what information you must listen out for
-Underline any key words in the main part of the questions with multiple choice.Then look at the options and make sure you understand how they differ from each other.

Usually the type of discourses you should expect is,( IN ANY RANDOM ORDER)

a)A dialogue-social or transactional (like ordering something or booking tickets) [2ppl]
b)A talk or short speech-topic of general interest [1 person]
c)A conversation-education /training context [2-4 ppl]
d)A lecture-(academic style) [1 person]

The type of questions you can expect would be;
a)short answers (like fill in the blanks sorta thing)

Overall it isn’t very difficult,but you guys gotta watch out for the spelling and grammar.By the way they accept American spelling and British spelling.

IELTS:Part A:Speaking

Since many of my friends are about to sit for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), I decided to write a little about the exam as I sat for the exam approximately 2 weeks ago.

Well the IELTS exam has two versions to be exact; Academic Module and General Training module. Academic module is more for students who wish to present the IELTS scores as an English Profiency test for undergraduate or postgraduate level of studies. General Training (GT) is designed for those candidates who plan to undertake training or secondary school education.GT is also used in Australia and New Zealand to assess the language skills of incoming migrants.

Well overall the IELTS exam has almost the same structure as the way MUET (Malaysian University English Test) is conducted. This similarity may be because both the exams have a touch of British education in them. After all the Malaysian Education System is a modified version of the GCE’s in Britain, which explains the similarities between SPM and O-Levels,STPM and A-Levels.

The IELTS exam is divided into 4 parts to be exact,

Part 1: Speaking
Part 2: Listening
Part 3: Reading
Part 4: Writing

Part 1: Speaking

Well the speaking test consists of 3 parts;the first part of the Speaking test, the examiner would usually begin by asking basic questions such “What is your name?”” What is your full name?” and”How old are you?” Usually the first part is more of an introduction or a ‘warm up’. The examiner would ask questions based on everyday topics and personal experiences. Try to answer as fully as you possible without straying from the topic.
A simple example would be such as when the examiner asks you for your name, instead of saying,” John Lennon”, you could say “Well my name is John Lennon”. The confidence portrayed your sentences would convince the examiner that you have some sort of a command on the language

The second part: you will be required to speak on a topic given by the examiner between one to two minutes. The examiner will give you a topic and would allocate 1 minute for you to prepare for your speech. Then once the time is up, you are required to talk on the topic. It is advisable for you to make small notes and points instead of writing complete sentences while preparing. It will save you time and give you more time to plan your speech. You should speak without stopping but try to make it as exciting as possible and avoid making the speech look like a prepared speech before the exam.

The third part: This part is said to be the most difficult part of the speaking test as it will involve you and the examiner. The examiner would introduce a discussion which is linked to the second part. In this part the examiner would expect you to show a more mature command of the language and it would be more in the form of an academic nature. The examiner will lead the discussion but you are required to interact fully and offer a broad range of language appropriate to the subject and situation. You should portray confidence throughout the ‘interview’ in order to show the examiner that you are confident with the usage of English as a daily speaking language.

Overall the Speaking test would take about 11-15 minutes.

Part 3: 4-6 MINUTES

Caramel Custard

Well i know it's so not me but recently i have developed a liking towards cooking and i have this one recipe which is a so must try one!

It's Caramel Custard!
I swear you would eat a whole tray of it if you've laid your taste buds on it!
Well I'll give you the super-secret recipe and if you guys have any questions regarding it you can ask me later on msn or even here.

Ingredients
-4 cups of full cream milk(approx 1L)
-7 eggs
-1 cup sugar
-1/2 tsp nutmeg powder (but you can do without it too)
-i tsp vanilla essence

1.Prepare a mould for the custard by greasing very lightly with butter
2.Heat 1/2 cup of sugar with 1 tsp of water in a pan till it melts and turns golden
brown.Pour the caramelised sugar into pudding mould and swirl to coat the sides
of the mould.Keep aside to cool
3.Mix the eggs and remaining sugar together with a large bowl and blend till all the
sugar has dissolved.Now add the milk,vanilla essence and nutmeg and blend again
4.Pour this mixture into the mould you are using to fill them 3/4 of the way to
the top.
5.Cook for 30 minutes and insert toothpick in center.(Well its more of steaming it)
6.When cooked,cool the pudding and then chill in refrigerator for an hour or two.
7.To serve place a plate over the mould,hold firmly in place and turn over gently.
Pour some of the remaining caramel over the pudding and serve.

It's awesome! you could do some own changes to the recipe to have it to your liking

The walk down the dark pathway,
The pathway of eternity
I look back and see a shadow
A shadow known to me,
It’s dark and it flickers under the moon light
It tries to wave to me,
But I chose to ignore it
It tries to say something
A faint whisper coming from it
But I chose to ignore it
It glides across the dark pathway
Mimicking every step I make,
Trying to be my shadow once more
Trying to make me the person I once was,
I don’t want to go through all of it again
The decisions I made,
The mistakes I had to deal with,
And the people who made me who I am today
I’m changed and I need a new shadow..
A shadow who is what I am..
I walk into eternal darkness expecting a companion,
More like a fleck of light flickering at a distance
Assuring myself that there is something waiting at the end of the pathway
I move on,hoping and praying
For me to find out and for the rest to know…
I love myself and my shadow,
But the time has come for it to go,
So I say goodbye as i walk away,
Into eternal darkness,
To find that flickering light….
It might just be the light I’m looking for,
Which would make me a new shadow…
A shadow of me….

Well recently since the government has started paying more attention to SME's(Small and medium Enterprises),several companies have come up to show the products they are currently having, and to my surprise some of the SME's have really good technology which can help benefit the country especially in the IT field.

One technology which certainly caught my eye was Mobile technology and i find it to be an amazing choice to start with. I mean we all know that the developed countries regard Malaysia as a third world country but do you know the magnitude we are talking about when we look at the usage of mobile phones in Malaysia?? It is amazingly large in number and this is certainly a field which can involve much more advancements especially in the local market.

A SME by the name of SIMER Technology has recently come up with technology so mind boggling that it’s almost impossible to believe if not seen with our naked eyes.

Well initially SIMER was a solution developed for the financial institutions. SIMER is its basic technology that was developed for the mobile phone users. It denotes a spontaneous response system to accommodate interactivity between the application and its users. All the data, of its financial nature are encrypted.

I'm sure everyone has dreamt of making financial transactions using the phone, but none would guess that it would be possible. But this Malaysian SME has created waves in the international telecommunication arena, by introducing this technology to Malaysia..
Mobile banking (also known as M-Banking, mbanking, etc.) is a term used for performing balance checks, account transactions, payments etc. via a mobile device such as a mobile phone.

In addition to that they have started a recent rival technology to the MMS known to Malaysians but with several notches higher capabilities. They call it the Simer Content Exchange (SX).As a matter of fact, they have introduced Document Exchange, Video Exchange(sending video clips from pc to phone) and webcam messaging(computer to phone video call).This is indeed all never possible in the past, but now with all the technological advancements this has certainly possible!

I will be getting a test run one of these days, for I will be visiting the SME to enquire more about the technology and the possibilities in Malaysia. I will update you guys further after my visit there.

Arsenal---->current position:4th

Well Arsenal is a real unlucky club from what i see,they have amazing transfer policies and i see that Arsene Wenger goes to great extents to get the player he wants.
But is it really necessary for all those future planning when the current situation should be tackled first? I mean yes,its great to sign youngsters,its a way to maintain a continuity,but hey look at the Arsenal players,Yes they do have amazing talent but youngsters tend to put in more inconsistent games then average aged players.Their recent signing of Arshavin seems like somethin a very sane manager would do especially in a time where moving down the ranks seem inevitable to Arsenal.Nevertheless Arsenal,is still an amazing team,it was not long ago when they were unbeaten a freaking long time,48games if i'm not mistaken..haha.But yes they have amazing players in their peak at the moment,and also several up and coming superstars yet i would say this certainly wouldn be a season Arsenal would want to remember.
They have been pretty shaky eversince Henry and Viera leaving the club.The loss of Viera particularly has come down pretty hard on Arsenal,seeing them fail to plug that gap in midfield.Viera's strength and dominance is certainly missed in Arsenal's gameplay but they have come up with some long-term solutions such as Denilson and Fabregas.But still things could be much better for Arsenal,as i've said earlier,no luck...

so what has the future in store for them? a 3rd place finish would actually sound like an amazing season for Arsenal,but it does seem a little bit difficult for them to improve that fast but its not impossible.But what i think is a 4th place finish or a 5th place finish if the Villans can put up a much more effective battle for the Champions League spot...

The English Premier League!

i know i know...it is a little late to talk about the Premier League
But so what! its's like the most exciting part of the season!

It's been pretty much an unpredictable season,at the start Liverpool looked extremely impressive,they were playin good football puttin the pressure on the early leaders Chelsea.And they beat Manchester! which was like super amazing...haha
but then Liverpool supporters get cocky after a win like that.They were proclaiming that the title was Liverpool's to lose.Manchester was quick to bounce back winning 10 matches in a row moving them to the top of the table!
I'm not gonna bore you with the details of whatsoever past information..so we gonna take a look at the current situation of the top 3 clubs in the English Premier League at the moment,

Manchester United--->Current position: 1st
Almost every manager in England would agree,Manchester Utd has one of the best lineups in English football and maybe in the world too( i aint sure bout that)
But you gotta agree with Ronaldo and Nani on the flank terrorising the defence,
Berbatov,a lazy player but has similar attributes to Ruud Van Nistelrooy a real goal poacher,Wayne Rooney the powerhouse driving on the team with his strong presence on the field, and i cant even tell who plays in the midfield cos their midfielders are almost strikers with an amazing attacking capabilities.
We dont have to talk about their defenders because with Vidic and Ferdinand its almost a fort there.

So what has the future in store for them,my prediction they would run off with the title no illusions there..(i'm a liverpool fan btw,but i'm pretty practical)

Liverpool----->Current position:2nd
Hmm...to talk about Liverpool is rather confusing.Because at times i dont really know what to expect from them and what do they want too...I mean at the start of the season i really thought they were gonna last the season,with performances like that hell any Liverpool supporter would have placed a bet on them to win the title!
Thier line up is pretty impressive too,but i can say that it could have been much better if the manager had managed his funds better.However there's a cloud on Liverpool,they have been rocked by inconsistency for ages! and to top it up,an odd rotation policy by the great Benitez has worked towards making them more inconsistent.They have indeed jumped back into the title hunt,but i'm sad to say it would not last long,one injury and BOOM they're back to where they started.

So what has the future in store for them,an EXTREMELY good fight would be put up by Liverpool to see them lift the trophy,They could win the title if they have plenty of luck and stay clear from injuries for at least the next 8 matches..But seriously,they might end up 2nd or 3rd..

Chelsea----->Current position:3rd
The Blues has certainly emerged from the team who bought they English Premier League title some time ago to a team who is genuinely in contention for the title with a squad well formed.It is true that Chelsea is made up of players so expensive that it could buy over 10 lower division clubs with the same amount of money,but so what!
they have the money they spend it..not that they've been buying world-class footballers blindly like what Manchester City is trying to do.They buy what they need.Well for me i would feel that Chelsea is the most consistent team in the English Premier League.Just take a look at their performances in the past few seasons and even now,have you ever seen Chelsea lower than the 3rd position in the league in the whole season.They consistenly play good football and their presence in the top half of the table has been amazing.They are one of the few teams who have actually gone from strength to strength WITH the help of money that is haha...
And with Guus Hiddink currently at helm,Chelsea would perform much better and to say that they might win the league,nahh...Manchester United is still too strong.

So what has the future in store,Chelsea would maintain their consistency but just lack the finishing power to dislodge Manchester from their dominant position in the Premier League table.

However now we are ignoring the fact of Arsenal's recent revival,i shall talk about Arsenal in the following post..
